He's a funny guy. He insists on taking the toughest cases but promptly loses all of them.

He prosecuted John Edwards and lost at trial, even though it was a textbook easy case. He got a conviction of Virginia governor Robert McDonnell - who was oozing with corruption - and then got promptly overturned due to procedural defects in his prosecution in a laughingly rare, 9-0 decision by the Supreme Court.

I am sure his staff told him not to respond to the report. He didn’t listen and called an emergency press conference. It seemed like a desperate act of a fading and angry man. It was sad to watch.
