It doesn't seem that we will get a claim from DDS today, so I will jump on this bandwagon and hopefully we can get a claim from Max in time.

Last game I happened to actually be scum, and even then I was aghast at how Sonic was just left to slip by without even a Blood Test for so long...
I agree that his wild speculations are not good for town, so I'm willing to switch to Sonic if EW prefers him over Max. I'm just going with my gut right now and thought I should make my case against Max as I see it, in case I don't survive the night.

Do you have any opinion on Max?

Max has been suspiciously reckless with the way he wanted to rush a take out of LC and risk Swang, though I agree that those power roles do need to be investigated.
Yes, Max is a reasonable choice for lynch and I may switch, especially since Sonic bandwagons seem to often stall out, for some reason.

As for LC and Swang, if I have to guess, I'd actually guess they are both Town, but I'd much rather not guess, especially about LC. The way I planned it will hopefully work, and I do believe in front-loading power role plays as much as possible, because those roles often aren't around later. Swang will be particularly hard to keep alive, but we must try.

End of the Day will be 23th of January at 18:00pm CC time

Looks like the town needs to come together somehow.

Unless things turn weird, I'm assuming that Vot is town, and therefore also EW.

We can wait until tomorrow to see if we can trust LC (assuming we have a seer who goes along with the plan), and I don't see a reason to lynch our Lord yet.

I'd be inclined to vote with the Sheriff and confessor, but then I looked at why DDS and Vot are on Sonic...
DDS voted for him right after my joke vote/unvote with the comment "Eh why not."
Vot went for him based on a DDS post, and maybe some bad history. "God knows he deserves it."
I don't think either of these is much of a case against Sonic. (I can't believe I'm even saying this )

So for me, I'm somewhat suspicious of Charle for suggesting we vig Vot, but I think Max has racked up the most scummy points in my book:
  • his plan to vig LC and maybe lose both our Barkeep and our Barber.
  • his reasoning that the Bailiff was killed because the wolves already have all the public roles.
  • his trying to draw suspicion towards me based on my supposed lack of participation.
  • that he wants to lynch our Barber.
  • his incorrect analysis of the Wolf Father.
  • his praise of Charle after he walked back his kill Vot idea.

I don't like trying to start a new bandwagon at this point, but...
Vote Maxleod

EW, If you prefer someone else, make your case and I might be able to join you.

I agree 100% here.

@Dega, apart from being more active this game, do you feel Max plays differently from former games? My impression of him is that he rarely posts, votes someone wildly overstating his case, and then just claims that it is an open shut case whenever people challenge him. The only slight change to his M.O. in this game is that he actually contributes more (even if his input is rubbish). Basically, I'm asking you if you think that Max is actually scum?

You also said that you were willing to switch to Son!c with whom you're voting right now. You also mentioned Charle in your post. He's also voting Max.

@DDS, what's with your trigger happiness? You vote Son!c with no added reason and now you've switched to Max despite agreeing to treat in the vein of Mitch. You seem careless when willing around your doublevote.

I also don't want to vote for the new players on D2. I appreciate Devante for his "lordship comments" - jolly good fun ! =D> =D> And not easy to do as new player! (because some people here hand out "bad player stamps" out for free faster than a bat out of hell like Ewebasher getting his bus ticket).

So i understand Thor very well for "walking around town keeping his head down". And Mpolo, well he could be deadbeating so i don't wanna vote him either. Who knows who we'd loose tonight? Id rather have Mpolo in here on D3 so if he really is deadbeating he can be replaced just like Rag replaced Parked.

And speaking of Ragian, thanks for the advice earlier. Getting good
advice for free is priceless!

Agree with Ragian here, I remember Max as a trigger happy/no one can change my mind... kind of guy from previous games. But I do feel we need a claim before days end to work off something, And as I stated before I don't think Max's idea is the "worst" idea out there but also any info is good info. How many votes are we at and how many does it take to lynch before I make my decision.

5 valid* votes, Deg, DDS doubler, Charle and me. 8 needed to lynch?

You would put him on L-2.

@Pixar, I agree that a claim wouldn't hurt. I also think that Max has done enough to being forced to claim. I just doubt it is in town's interest based on his play style.

I think DDS has been sort of off a bit more than anyone else. I just can't put my finger on it. The two anonymous votes on him, however, deter me from voting him.

I also agree with not picking on newcomers, but Thor could offer his opinion on what is going on. His reading of proceedings is just as valid as anyone else's.

If I get nk'ed again, I'll come back as mpolo.

I'm not claiming to have any special knowledge, so aside from EW and Vot, anyone might or might not be scum. Sonic and Max seem almost interchangeable in this game, but my gut feeling is on Max right now. I could be wrong, but seeing who does or does not join in could be instructive in the future. At this stage of the game, I can't worry too much about who joins the bandwagon. If I switched to Sonic and Max and Charle joined in, would that mean that Sonic was town?

It seems that you're suspicious of DDS, but haven't even voted for him. Is there someone you are willing to vote for?

The Lord is travelling quite a bit this weekend for some tournaments, but I'll try to stay up on this as much as possible. As of right now I think Vots night plan seems to be the one that benefits town the most, and makes the most sense, especially in the case barkeep is actually town. Hopefully none of those roles are wolves otherwise that would suck. As for weird reads, Max is the one standing out the most to me also, so I'll agree with the rest and vote for him.

Vote Max

P.S. - If my vote needs to be changed feel free to hit my wall as that comes through to me where posts here are delayed. Thx

I won't put him at L-1, so it's time to claim Max, shouldn't even put him at L-2 at this point, seeing how we have an anonymous voter that counts as 2 and DDS the Sheriff has 2 votes as well.

Hi,

I have 3 points to raise here;

1. I was under the assumption earlier that the Werewolves only knew each other Night 1 (because in a card game I've played the Werewolves open there eyes at night to see who each other are).
I read the opening pack for this game and as far as I can see I don't think there is anything definitive.
There has been discussion about this by others since - I just don't think we know - I'm leaning now slightly towards the WWs having known each other Day1.

2. Votes seem to be mounting on Max.
Even though Max has gone in on me - I didn't and still don't particularly suspect Max of being a WW - I can either read his doubling down on me as irrelevant or more suspicious but I
incline towards the former. I just don't think volume of activity throwing suspicions makes a player more suspicious but it does draw attention to a player.
Me saying that may be the kiss of death for Max judging by the suspicion on me.
If so I am sorry Max (unless you are a WW)

3. Vot himself has admitted his plan isn't bulletproof. Even though it is aimed at uncovering me as a WW if I am it is just about as robust plan as I think there can be.
OK so powers are spent on uncovering me when I am not team WW.
If Vots plan either doesn't work or shows me to not be team WW - a combination of individually and collectively throwing shade at me and individually and collectively not coming up
with a better/more robust plan will be the reason.
And I don't think you guys will currently listen to me if I tried to persuade you not to follow Vots plan.
Nevertheless I will put one to you anyway.
a. Vote Pix today to rid me of my immunity.
b. Perhaps if Pix turns up WW keep your powers for another night/or not if I still top your suspicions. (but you won't have the time to coordinate)

Right now I still advocate Pix as a better vote than Max.

Hold the phone. In just about every game I've ever played with Mitch, i either try to get him lynched or killed because he could single handily lose town the game by just being that much of an awful waffle.
Fast forward to the present, we got two different blue berries here who have so far said the following:
Vig one of our only confirmed town (Vot). ???????
Vig LC because lol? "Two deaths are acceptable," and either that was a brain fart when you still have a night phase or he just conveniently skipped the thinking phase.
You die! Period! HURRRRRR!

Sonic - 1 Vote - Votanic
Devante - 1 Vote - Swang
Swang - 1 Vote - Maxleod
Maxleod - 6 Votes - Degaston, DirtyDishSoap, Charle, Sonic, Devante

With 16 players allowed to vote 9 are needed for a Lynch.

Votes are only valid in red, I'm not gonna enforece the bold. Thor was reminded of this.

Actually you threw shade at me 26 minutes into day2 - my instinct said that was off.
Then you doubled down by saying my early vote in day2 made me more suspect.
I guess it was my early instinct back then - now I trust my early instinct less but that is natural - so I don't know whether to keep trusting my early instinct or not.
And while I don't really see why anyone should trust my instinct - for the record I go instinctive early in the game - but early in the game has now passed - then bow to logic as the game progresses.

So in answer to Swangs question it is a combination of what my instinct was and that it would rid me of my immunity.

This is actually really weirdly suspicious.
LC, why in the world are you trying to lose your immunity??
If you are town, your immunity is wonderful. I don't think the wolves would have any way to directly kill you.
That might greatly help Town to victory late in the game.

My undertanding was you was trying to vote for unlikely lynch candidates to maintain your immunity.
I don't know if Pixar is a wolf or not, but at the moment, that is beside the point.

This plan of yours almost sounds like a wolf trying to get a Townie killed before he is exposed tomorrow as a wolf...
I'm not going to jump to that conclusion, but explain more about why you think losing your immunity is a good thing?
