D1, Sonic doesn't hammer Dega. Gets some shit for it because Tonic was all for uniting but wasnt willing to vote for dega.

Is Town!Tonic overreacting to this to fix his behaviour, or is Scum!Tonic just 'uniting town' while drinking and explicitly saying in the tick mafia that you shouldnt drink & mafia?

I also dont like how he isnt pushing me for my post towards him, but I've mentioned that before.

In other news: Sonic is continuing to be a source of largely self-made controversy. I'm glad to see some other players taking the lead on that, for a change.

I don't read either of those as scummy. I've left this thread open for hours and hours and if you asked me I would've said I wasn't following anything during those hours - so maybe he just figured out that activity level and talks about activity level aren't great indicators. Sonic also proved Bax lying about his activity level in the tick--made a really detailed post about it, then just dropped it (much to me and the other scums' detriment!). So I think those are just par for the course

To me, skimming means reading something lightly or incompletely.
Does it mean something different in Danish? ..or when you play Mafia? ..or when you're nursing a hangover?

Here's part one:

I liked the Ragian theory but that was in the scenario he was the random converted one..

With DDS changing that to only 1 Original Thing it would make no sense for a mod to hint a strong clue (or even draw attention) towards the only player we need to find (because when you do it's game over).

For that reason alone Ragian has to be town. And Strike confirmed the joke thing very quickly. If Strike was The Thing staying silent a bit longer on the matter would be the better play. Only today you can trust 2 players confirming each other.

So i think we have to place Ragian and Strike in the 40% town we need to find. Degaston made a good impression too.

Early doors D1, Son!c says that I have to be town. He backs up that position some 18 pages later:

At best, this is bad play. In the vein of self-voting/volunteering to be BT'ed. Son!c even noted that I want Votanic's blood. It smells of "I can get two for the price of one if I just climb down from this tree without people noticing it." EW noticed it, and I also noticed.

Son!c has earned himself some scummy points. (And even admitted to changing play style, which is funny if you recall what are senior representative voiced in the beginning of the game.)

The key thing in cult games is change in behavior.

My chummy list right now is: Strike Wolf. Throughout, he has posted reads, general points, and comments that indicate town. If I were The Thing, I'd defo convert him.

I don't like Dega's absence. He's making it difficult to analyse him. I'm on the fence with EW. I think his call to BT me is weird and somewhat uncharacteristic.

Rag is playing aggressive, perhaps a tad too aggressive, but I dont think he is the recruiter. Rag is on 3, but I dont want to put him on L-1 just yet even if it's "just" a BT and not a lynch. Rag, do you have stuff to say/divert to?

As for Sonic, it's all WIFOM because The Thing might just as well convert a less strong voice because we're expecting him to convert a strong player. Perhaps it's all back to dega then.

I forgot this quote. Here's EW - a few posts after pointing fingers at people for wanting to follow any cleared player, which, as he admits, he did so himself D1 - saying that I'm not the recruiter. So him voting for me is basically him making sure that the recruiter is not tested today.

Swang and Charle seem consistent in their "I'll just vote whoever without laying out grounds myself" play. I think this is abdictation of responsibility, but at least it's consistent.

I have absolutely zero read of traf. The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way with him was him saying that he deliberately stayed away from the wagon on me because others suspected him.

All three are on my watchlist, but I don't have anything damning on them.

@Rag you're not entirely wrong. I voted to keep the pressure up, and indeed said that you were unlikely to be the recruiter for me. But I still think your play was off D2 compared to D1. To me, your D2 felt a lot more directly aggressive. In the post you quoted, I also said that I was holding my vote to give you an opportunity to address. Obviously Sonic and Votanic didnt think the same after Sonic unvoted and I voted.

I'm still not sure how much I lean into Sonic!Sonic and how much Scum!Sonic. For now, he's my most likely lynch candidate.

But Ragian what is the case against votanic again? Extreme's reasoning makes sense that if votanic is scum then it makes no sense for him to vote BT on you since you made it very clear you were going to push for his lynching once you were cleared. And if he was scum he would know you were going to get cleared.
