I think that Chi-Rho is not Christian Catholic symbol.
From its look, Chi-Rho is like swords + density and associates to warriors or "Major" rank in CC with these crossed swords.

Christian Catholic symbol, in contrary, is Tau-Rho:

One line in a different direction makes huge difference and can deceive a person who is not careful in interpreting.

You can try with kanjis but that riddle is extra complex. Ancient Roman people said "nomina sunt idiosa".
