Tournament comprises a TOTAL of only 8 Games per Player, played over only 3 Rounds. So in Ryder Cup '23', It's a bit of a SPRINT!
In ALL 8 Games, you will be playing opponents of a similar Rank to Yourself. In QUADS and DUBS games, you will be playing with Team Mates of a similar Rank to Yourself.
A HUGE Congratulations to Team Europe. Another tremendous Victory over USA demonstrates that Europeans make the best Golfers by far! 16 1/2V11 1/2, it wasn't even close. Uncle Sam was royally PUMPED in ROME!
CC was started in 2006. Since then, the scores in (The Real) Ryder Cup are Team Europe 6vUncle Sam 3. It's been a great 20 Years in Europe!
BUT, the burning question is.........Who makes the best RISK Players????
Europeans or Americans?
Could the American Gung Ho attitude over come the finesse of Europeans Superior IQ Levels and Skill?
Thankfully we already know the answer to that Question. In CC Ryder Cup 1......Played over a HUGE 4,190 Games in 2021, making it the largest CC Tournament (at the time).............Team Europe came out on Top. It was not even close, Europe was on Fire, USA was Terrified! It was truly an immense Tournament attracting the best 270 RISK players from the World over, representing the 2 Continents.

And fresh from the Ryder Cup Actual, It's time for the CCPGA Ryder Cup II
And, word on the street is............'USA are Terrified':
- Teams will be taken from the 1st Players to Enter. It'll be the 1st 64 / 128 Team USA Players versus the 1st 64 / 128 Team Europe Players to enter, or more if more players enter buy the Tournament will start when Teams are level in size.
- You will play Players of a similar Ranking to your own. Both Teams will be split into Quarters. Top Ranks, Top-Middle Ranks, Bottom-Middle Ranks, Lower Ranks. You will always play in Teams with Players of your Own Rankings against the opposing Teams Players from the same Quarter, so a similar Ranking. Players Ranks will be taken from the start of the Tournament.
- There will be 3 Rounds in the Ryder Cup, just like in the Real Ryder Cup.
- Round 1: QUADS: You will be in the same Team as 4 Players from your same Quarter. You will Play 2 Games against the same Opposing Team from your opposite Quarter. 1 Game on a Team USA Map, 1 Game on a Team EUROPE Map. Win 2-0=1Point, Draw=1-1=1/2 Point, Loss 0-2=0 Point. *Will TRY to accomodate your choice of map .
- Round 2: DUBS: You will be in the same DUBS Team from your same Quarter. You will Play 2 Games against the same Opposing Team from your opposite Quarter. 1 Game on a Team USA Map, 1 Game on a Team EUROPE Map. Win 2-0=1Point, Draw=1-1=1/2 Point, Loss 0-2=0 Point. *Will TRY to accomodate your choice of Map.
- Round 3: SINGLES: You will Play against an Opposing Player from the same Quarter. You will Play 4 Games against the same Opposing Player from your opposite Quarter. 1 Game on a Team USA Map, 1 Game on a Team EUROPE Map, 2 Games on a RANDOM Map. Win 2-0=1Point, Draw=1-1=1/2 Point, Loss 0-2=0 Point. *If you have selected a MAP this will be used for 1/4 Games.
- Pick your Map for Trips, Dubs and Singles from your countries maps. (For Dubs and Trips we will try to match your choice).
To Enter: 1. Pick a Side: Europe / America 2. If you have a preference for 1 of your Continents Maps: Stipulate which Map you want from the list below. 3. Post on This Forum: i.e. your Team choice and if you have any preference on Maps for any Round. A Map preference is not absolutely required. You will be given a Random Map from your Teams List.
The HIGHEST TOTAL POINTS are crowned CCPGA Ryder Cup CHAMPIONS! And just like the Ribbon at the top of this page, CHAMPIONS will receive their very own Personalized Ryder Cup CHAMPION graphic.

It's that familiar story again where Europeans demonstrate mastery of the RISK Board to the American Dice Chukkers!
If you look at the 1st Tab of the Scoreboards it shws the best performing individual players. The MOST VALUABLE PLAYERS to use an American Term.....And it's a SEA of BLUE at the Top! Only 4 Americans are on the TOP PAGE and only 1 American has picked up full points in the 1st 2 Rounds (Congrats ABN - PFDR). Bad-Ape & Kevi are the 2 Europeans on MAX POINTS so far!
But, let me look to see if there is a crumb of comfort I can chuck to our American RISK Playing INFERIORS............There are 15 DUBS Match Ups still going on.......
- 7 Are ALL SQUARE!
- Team USA are ahead in 4
- Team Europe are ahead in 4
So if they finished that way, Team Europe would take a +5 Lead into the 52 Singles Match Ups. With 52 Points up for Grabs there, it is not beyond the realms of possibility that USA could get the 6 POINT SWING REQUIRED. Because if it's a DRAW, just like in the Real Thing, EUROPE RETAIN the RISK RYDER CUP!
And just like the last time, the WINNING TEAM will get a Banner to put on their Auto-signature to remind their neighbours across the pond that they've been PUMPED on the Ryder Cup RISK BOARDS! I am still on the old one, but, SoN!c has created 2 Superb Master Pieces, 1 for each Continent, BUT, ONLY 1 will be used!
The DRAW for the SINGLES has been made, a full preview will be done before we start the last Round of The Ryder Cup!
But first we must finish most of the Dubs Match Ups, with 15 still to finish, things are delicately balanced. But if USA slip up and take anything less than HALF the points on offer, Uncle Sam will be PUMPED AGAIN for sure!

The Dubs, didn't go well for Team USA. But, what's new, nothing ever goes well for USA when it comes to the RISK Ryder Cup!

USA 14.5 v 21.5 EUROPE
It's not close, but, in 'The Dubs' 3 Match Ups are still going on! USA are ahead in 2 and in the other they are still All Square. Of those USA will 100% win 1. The other 2 hang in the balance. So as we approach 'The Singles', EUROPE have a 4 to 6 Point Lead over the floundering Yanks!
As Team Europe are the CURRENT holders of the RISK Ryder Cup, in the event of a DRAW they retain it so Team USA are going to have to go some in the Sunles to have a chance. And, it looks tough!
Saying that, 52 Points are up for grabs here! All 104 Ryder Cup Players go HEAD to HEAD over 52 Match Ups. Each Player plays 4 Games, 1 on each of their HOME TEAM Maps and 2 on Random Maps. And it's not complicated. Draw 2-2 you get a 1/2 point for your team, win 3-1 or 4-0 and you get 1 Point for your Team.
But this is where you see the size of the Mountain that Team USA need to climb in order to WIN their 1st RYDER CUP. Of the 52 Match Ups taking place, USA only have the HIGHEST RANKED PLAYER in 12 of them. So not only are Europe in the Lead, they can afford to lose the Singles by a small margin and still remain CHAMPIONS of the RISK RYDER CUP! It's the way it is, take a large cross section of the CC Community and lb for lb, Europeans are so much better than their American Counterparts when it comes to RISK.

It's Happened! Sometime in the early hours of Sunday, 28th January morning. TEAM EUROPE crossed the finishing line in the CCPGA Ryder Cup II.
The Score is currently EUROPE 48 v 30 USA (13 to play)
That is the 2nd Ryder Cup in a row in which Europeans have demonstrated their mastery of the RISK board to the inept Yanks on the other side of the pond. But this time, it was not even close!
In the Round 1 4 Balls the writing was already on the wall for Team USA. From 13 Match Ups, EUROPE built up a 4 Point lead from the off. And if the Americans thought that was bad, it was only going to get worse!
In the Dubs, Team USA got their act together briefly, but, they ended up falling even further behind. Team Europe took Round 2 by a margin ov 14 v 12 to increase the lead to 6 Points.
But, it was on The Singles where the European understanding of the finer points of tactical play brought the harsh reality to Americans. When it comes to RISK, you just don't have the magic! from 39 Completed Match Ups, Europe have secured 25.5 of the possible 39 Points. With only 13 to play, Europe are 18 Points in front. Team USA were so bad they could not even take the contest into Febuary!

And after that we are down to the 2 Pointers. In that Group was 23 Players, including the best performing Americans. There was a paltry 8 of them in that group. This is been a domonstration on EVERY FORM of RISK that Europeans simply OUT-CLASS Amaricans every time!
And lastly folks, a YEARS PREMIUM will be offered in the very 1st INTER-CONTINENTAL CUP!
This has nothing to do with toilet issues and everything to do with TEAM EUROPE demonstraying their Superiority on the RISK Board once again! As the 2 Time RYDER CUP Champs, Europe will now face the REST of the WORLD for the Title of the Inter-Continental Champions! It'll be in the same format as the Ryder Cup, except, the WINNING TEAM and the best performing players from the LOSING TEAM will then qualify for the Most Valuable Player Tourney which will have a 1st Prize of a YEARS PREMIUM.
Watch out for that one later in 2024.
