I am organizing double elimination tournament for 8 teams of 2 players. The only requirement for the tournament is for a player to have at least 1800 points.
Signed-up and randomly seeded teams:
1. firstholliday - Sir Titus
2. David_Wain - Nephilim
3. Forza AZ - dragon dor
4. Z00T - pjdonald
5. hknox76 - merz
6. Blitzaholic - AndrewB
7. hulmey - zarvinny
8. Sgt. Drake - rayhaynes
Tournament format:
Similar to CC Colonel+ Double Elimination Tourny - [FINISHED]
This tournament format allows for 1 loss. Minimum numbers of games per team is 2, maximum numbers of games per team is 7. Teams will be randomly seeded into the grid.
Games settings
Every game will be played on a Random map (apart from Crossword, Circus Maximus and World 2.1 maps or any map smaller then 42 countries or bigger then 60). Same map won't be played more then once. Games settings will be: 4 players, Doubles, Sequential, Escalating, Chained.
Vacations, replacements and drop-outs
To make sure that tournament will be completed, any player is allowed 2 breaks of 2 weeks in total between games. Within those 2 weeks of waiting for a player, his partner is responsible for finding a replacement. If replacement won't be provided within those 2 weeks the team will forfeit their games.
Maximum 30% of games can be played as a sub. And you will be required to provide a sub when the main player does not show up. At that moment a sub must be over 1800 points.
Maximum 1 sub can play in any particular moment, so at least 1 main registered player is playing. But once one sub had played the game, another sub can replace him. At the end of the day, main players need to play min 70% of the games. The rest can be played by multiple sub, but only one at the time.
Sign up procedures.
The only requirement for the tournament is for a player to have at least 1800 points. But once you sign up, you don't have to drop off the tournament just because your score goes below 1800.
To sign up please post your team members and team captain information here.
If you are a single player, you can put your name down and start looking for a partner or wait until your partner will confirm his participation. You would have at least 24 hours since your post in the forum to find/confirm a partner. If after 24 hours I will have a pair waiting, then they will take your spot.

I can advice you to probably rearrange your team accordingly.
PS. I've updated the rules accordingly.
