Not a massive deal, but change it if you're ever polishing the map :)

I just noticed that as well...

It's spelled Nasirlyah on the map image, but Nasiriyah in the XML... It seems that Nasiriyah is the correct spelling

I'm glad I read the first page of this thread otherwise I would have had no idea how the city loyalties worked.... I'm sure I would have figured out once I noticed them in the drop down boxes for attacking from a city though... Anyway I think it's a nice well thought out map.

I don't know where you've been, but bin Laden is in Afghanistan or Pakistan, but certainly not Iraq.

actually i thnk he's somewhere on the french riviera sipping on a cappuccino and smoking a ciggar reading a newspaper and laughing at the idiots looking for him, but that's another discussion.

Hello,

I've noticed an omission on the 'Continents Overview' section for this map.

All Shia(8) is present, however Shia(5) is not present.

Just wanted to point it out, no biggie.

Cheers, Ark

I only see All Shia, game number 21867500.

Strange, on another Iraq game I've finished. I do see it both Shia's. Must be just a one off bug.

does the shia bonus disappear from view only if u hold the all shia bonus, to avoid giving the impression that u'll receive 5 troops plus 8 troops?

if not, then is the bug caused by changing clans mid-season?? :D

Hello, It seems like this map has a problem when a player no longer has any provinces or cities but still has loyalties. The player is unable to attack and can only use his/her bonus to reinforce his loyalties.

I'm currently in a game where 3 out of 5 players are in that situation and have stacked armies on loyalties for a couple turns. This makes the end game incredibly boring for them and the last player who has to cleanup the whole map if they want to win. example here: https://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=21995009

Should players be eliminated when they no longer hold provinces or cities?

That problem has first been raised on page 18 of this thread. The map never had a beta phase though, so it was live already, and the mapmaker said he would think about it but never came back.

Not sure if eliminating players when they only hold loyalties is the right fix, though, since al-Qaeda and Mahdi can still attack out. Furthermore, in multiplayer and poly games, the base income of those players is still relevant.
It's been almost 15 years though, with some complaints in the first 3. How often does this come up?
