I thought about it but I just don't see how I could implement it into the map successfully. Any input would be great.
You could put snipers somwhere, and have tehm attack certain territories in the middle of the map.

I think that you should try to get Bungie's approval first because it would be cool to be able to call it Halo Map or something.
I would LOVE this map if it got made; nice addition with the teleporters btw. If you do get Bungie approval, maybe something can happen if you own the spaces with the overshield or Active Camo?

I don't think it'd be easy to get approval but if I could get some help with that I'd appreciate it. (please make this possible)

Yeah, I guess. I'm not sure if it's necessary, but it's harder for Bungie to ignore a large group of people requesting something. (I'm optimistic here.)
Isn't this already a map in the game?! How come this is still being posted on is it somehow different than the other one? Or do you mean the entire LOTR planet if there is one?

Well I own the real LOTR map and the cc one is not completly accurate. The problem with making it is that you need permission to do it from the creators which is next to impossible to get.
Turn the cave into 4 territories. The two paths leading from each end, with the center being the giant pool-like-thing. Also, make the yellow area between the cave and gray neutral and have it able to attack each side.
I don't know how many of you acutally use this part of the map but there is a very good sniping spot near the left side of the map you can get to with a banshee. Not sure how that would be integrated, but it just sprang to mind.
Also, about the petition, I don't know if that is even needed. Any thoughts from someone with experience in this area?

I may know a bit. I would send ONE E-mail requesting permission to use their Coagulation map as a Risk map for one of the most well known online Risk sites. Don't forget to add things like all of us here are huge fans of the game and would love to experience using one of your cleverly created maps as a zone for our domination(lol). At the bottom you could have a petition with 100 or so people and say this was from a few hours up which shows how much of us wouldf really appreciate you doing this.Oh and make sure you note that this is for Conquerclub not any other site.
I'm gonna write an e-mail post it here then you guys write your screen names
and e-mail contact info. (you know so they know one person didn't type 100 names by them self) Wait for the e-mail... I've got some ass kissery to do.

Thinking further it might not be nessecary as we have a LOTR map and one from the Elder Scrolls series (before you ask its Tamriel). So it might not be necessary to even contact bungie about a map that looks crude crude compared to the real thing. Hmm... I wonder, any input would be great.

No I'm almost positive you have to have permission otherwise Lack might get in trouble for copyright infringement.
As theology is my side passion, I'd like to make maps (or have maps made) of battles for control of Biblical Heaven and Hell (probably independent). I was thinking the details from Dante's Inferno would suffice for the map for Hell. Anyway, long discussion to be had. I'm new to this concept (mapmaking), so pardon me if it has already been brought up and/or addressed. Ultimately, I'd like to battle to control Biblical Heaven and Hell (would be separate maps).
Apparently Its been tried before, But never finished.... I am currently working on a Dante's Inferno Map.... I have discussed it briefly with Keyogi. I am currently waiting on XML updates to continue this Map... I will have an Image Soon Probably Next Week

I'd prefer a Heaven vs. Hell map with something in between them (Earth?). I'd be willing to help. If there's a small world map in between Heaven and Hell it could be to Classic what USApocalypse is to USA.
