Peloponnesian War - Survivor Series ***TOURNAMENT FULL***

This is a Survivor Tournament, not a Knockout.

Premium Members Only.

Each round will consist of 3x2 player games. You just need to win 1 of 3 to survive in the Series. If you are the ultimate survivor you could even make it to the finals by just winning 1 of every 3 games.

You get 3 points for winning all 3, 1 point for winning 2 and zero points for winning 1 - You survive though.

Lose all 3 and you are just another victim. You are eliminated from the tournament regardless of how many points you have amassed.

The player with the highest cumulative points will get a bye in the next round. If points are equal it goes to the most points gained in the current round, then previous round then the one before that. If it is still a draw it goes down to who finished all 3 games first. To be clear, this is by time the games finish. So it's in your interest to play as quickly as possible.

If an odd number of players are left after that then the next highest scoring player will also get a bye.

Play continues until there are only 8 players left then it is a straight knockout in the quarters, semi and final. 5 games in the quarters and semi, and 7 in the final. If we go from 9 to 8,7,6 players remaining then the highest scoring player gets a bye like in previous rounds.

ROUND 14 COMPLETE - QUARTER FINAL DRAW!!!!

From 98 Players who entered the Tournament, Round 14 started with 9 players. We only had to lose 1 for the KO STAGES to begin. Here are the highlights of that Round:

- BOOM, 1st result in Round 14 and we have reached the QUARTER FINALS! Our 9th Seed lived up to his username for once. The 26th SCUDDED him 3-0 to send him reeling out of the Tournament 1 Round short of the KNOCK OUT STAGES. It was Drakkon 3 v 0 U SUCK….............

We are up to the best of 5 games now. For the Survivors, what an amazing achievement to come this far, but now, there are no survivors, just winners and losers!

QUARTER-FINAL COMPLETE / SEMI-FINAL PREVIEW:

Without further ado, here ar the highlights of the QUARTERS:

- When someone gets pumped, 99% of the time they put it down to Dice or Cards, never the fact they were outplayed. In thisQuarter-Final Tie, William Tennant put it down to Cards, and for once, that may actually be correct. Here was his after match excuses/analysis (-: "Thanks for a great tournament. I was excited to do so well in the prelims. Was worried about zombie setting in this first round of knockout and I've never seen more accurate nukes on a big map. His first sets of spoils in those five games hit 3 of my main tribe homelands, and his second set hit another. Totally unreal. Every time I logged on I had lost another homeland. Only one set of my nukes even found his territories. And in the fifth game he guessed right on his first invasion. It was over before it even began. Sayonara. thanks again. Bill" Very gracious in defeat but Eliminations make winners not 3-2 Quarter Final Defeats nd it's 21st Seed ITeachJava who remains alive and progresses to the Semi Final!

- In the Quarter Final Tie that is most probable to produce the Tournament winner it was 6th Seed Dragon Dor V 7th Seed Triple 6. Who was going through, a fire breathing Beast or someone with weighted dice? My money was on Triple 6 but it was 'The Dragon' who came good! The 7th Seed Triple6 is OUTTA Here!

- Everybody knows a wink leads to the heave ho, it's an old one and CivilOutlaw fell for the oldest trick in the book. EmilyWinks then gives CivilOutlaw the heave ho, right outta the tournament. It finished 4-1 to our 13th Seed. Emily through.

- Drakkon PUMPS TheFanny. A rather crude headline but that is what happened! It was all over in the 1st 3 games to finish, TheFanny bows out gracefully with "I was beat in 3. GGs and series Drakkon! Good luck in next phase". Drakkon marches on!

SEMI-FINAL PREVIEW:

Again, this is tight but we do have a favourite. These players have only played each other in 1x 2 player game and it was on Pelo. The 26th Seed Drakkon won that won.

THE FINAL:

But first, lets find out who the Semi-Finals losers were. The players who came so near, but......................so far:

- The 46th Seed in this Tournament Teach's Java. The 13th Seed Teach's Risk Skills. It was the Semi-Final and it was ITeachJava v EmilyWink. The unscrupulous Emily does it again, she Pumps ITeach to be within 1 Match Up of being the 1st Female to WIN a Survivor Series. These things are almost impossible to winso it could be a phenomenal achievement. I'm considering cheating to give myself a chance! Unlucky ITeach, close, but you fell 1 short of the final!

- A Shocker in the other semi final. Drakkon slays 'The Dragon'. Our 26th Seed took out the Tournament 6th Seed and Semi Final Favourite Dragon Dor 3-2. And, I know, 'The Dragon' wants to win aa Survivor Series badly, he has accomplished so much in RISK but a Survivor Series Title is beyond him! Congrats to Drakkon, its 26th v 13th Seed in the Final!

You would have to say, on the above stats, Emily is the FAV to win this Tournament.

But, these Giants of the Game, have played each other a massive 23 Times in 2 Player games.............Not any in my Tournaments mind you. And mostly on Arms Race.......

Emily has WON 14 times, and Drakkon, only 9 Times.............................................

This ain't looking good for Drakkon.......................................

Las Vegas Sportsbooks have Drakkon at 5/4 (2.25) and Emily as the RED HOT FAVOURITE at 4/6 (1.67)

THE FINAL:

Well, Bookmakers don't often get things wrong, and they called this one 100% correct. Although there are still games going, this one is over bar the winking!

From the drop, the 13th Seed EmilyWink was supremely confident that a Victory was coming her way. She spent days analysing Drakkon's CC history, playing style and opponents before coming to the conclusion that only a bout of Covid could stop her SCUDDING Drakkon. This was her comments:

"unfortunately for Drakkon, he drew unlucky #13.
we know how this ends.

it is a fun match up for us though. He joined a clan i helped start years ago (Riders on the Storm) and still flies our old banner in his profile."

And that is how it panned out. She quickly took a commanding 3-0 Lead, the writing was on the wall for our 26th Seed. She then closed down the 4th to make her the winner of the Best of 7 FINAL in 4 Games. She is well ahead in another, so, looks like a 5-2 or 6-1 or possibly 7-0 Destruction in the Final.

Emily also makes CC history as the first Female WINNER of a SURVIVOR SERIES. An Amazing feat.

Drakkon was so unlucky to come up against a performance like this in the Final. An amazing Tournament from the 26th Seed, just coming up 1 short of the Super Stardom that WINNING a SURVIVOR SERIES brings.

Well, it was an absolutely amazing feat. There was 98 Runners in this Tournament, It took 781 Games for Emily to out last the field.

She had to survive 52 games and 17 Rounds of Survivor Series Risk to Win it. An amazing RISK ACHIEVEMENT.........

Lets see how she done it and who she played....................:

Round 1: - the flip Survives against Emilywink (13th Seed), ranked 746 points higher.

Round 2: - emilywink Puts and end to the Union. Unionman loses 3-0 and emily's onto 4 points. For political reasons, I kinda like this result. I am one of the 58% (-: (That was a recent poll in support of Scottish Independence

)

Round 3: - 13th Seed emilywink survives against 1st Seed Greengo. Greengo was a massive 1187 points higher ranked though. Greengo's recovery and progression onto 3 points looks ominous. (Little did we know we were worried about the wrong player in taht Match Up)

Round 4: - 13th Seed EmilyWink moves up to 7 points with her elimination of 32nd Seed Occluded Front. Occluded had had a nightmare Tournament, leaving us after scores of 1-2, 1-2, 1-2, 0-3.

Round 5: - Emily suffered a SHOCK 2-1 DEFEAT in this Round versus 47th Seed Sweed Dreams

Round 6: - Emily gives Collins1916 the Wink…......Then Scuds him 3-0. 13th Seed EmilyWink up to Joint 2nd on 10 points. Collins1916 outta here on 2 points.

Round 7: - A 2-1 VICTORY against 39th Seed The Fanny.....

Round 8: - She pumped the 16th Seed and Map Specialist 2007SpaceOdyssey 2-1 in this Round......

Round 9: - Predicted Score: EmilyWink and CivilOutlaw's Match Up is delicately poised at 1-1. It looks like Emily has the last in the bag though. Emily 2 v 1 CO. ACTUAL SCORE will be updated if different. OBV it wasn't Different, Emily recorded andothe VIVTORY!

Round 10: - EmilyWink shows her class by the elimination of 81st Seed 11Joan11 who was on a very creditible 9 points. A great performance. But Emily, She is up to massive 16 Points and the Tourney lead!

Round 11: - emilywink, our 13th Seed took the Tournament lead with her 3-0 Last Round, She is on 16 Points and is the Round Hero!

Round 12: - Emily had un-finished business with the 16th Seed in this one........... Wow, In Round 12 it's really kicking off. EmilyWink the 13th Seed has just went and SCUDDED the 16th Seed 2007SpaceOdyssey 3-0. Emily takes control of the Tournament on 19 points, 2007SpaceOuttahere…..

Round 13: - The 13th Seed EmilyWink is the Round Hero and advances directly to Rd 14 and what maybe a quarter final. 3 Players need to be KO'd this Round for that to happen.

Round 14: - 1 Round short of the Quarter Finals and SURVIVAL was the order of the day in this one. She got that with a 2-1 loss versus 31st Seed Civil Outlaw.
