benga is suppose to send you and JD a PM about it before posting, for some reason tie breaker rule never get posted at the begin with, he/we want to come up with an acceptable tie breaker match that you and JD would accept.

2 games still ongoing with Round 14.

7 out of the 8 bracket seats have been taken so far, therefore congrats to the following team for passing the cut:

Group A:
Ducks and Friends: 63 points
Dragoons: 60 points
Dissension: 57 points
Group B:
Skillfull Croadians: 68 points (1 last point at stake)
Semi-Centurions: 54 points
Sausy Smurf & The Slippery: 53 points
Duck Hunters: 49 points

Iconic: 49 points & Team Sofa: 50 points are paying their last game which could create a tie and therefore and extra round TBD would be play before quarter final would start

As a recall, 1/4 finals would see following matchups:
A1 vs B4 (match 1)
B2 vs A3 (match 2)
B1 vs A4 (match 3)
A2 vs B3 (match 4)

1/2 finals to be; match 1 winner vs match 2 winner, match 3 winner vs match 4 winner.

No 3rd place match since both semi finalist who lost their match would receive the same prizes.

No change, last 2 games have reached round 18 of 20...troops count will determine the last team to join the bracket phase.

Before moving to the bracket phase, Iconic & Team Sofa will have to play a tie-breaker round, the winner move on to the next stage! Good luck to both team

Team Sofa is now winning 2-0, one game away for being qualify to the bracket stage! All 3 remaining games doesn't show a clear winner yet.

hey team leaders, from the recent PM i sent and to make sure it is clear to everyone, a team is allow to come up with whatever map for your bracket stage first round, map chosen for this 1/4 final to be the same to be use for the subsequent round, you can shuffle between dubs triples and quads but you can’t add a new map after that bracket stage start.

exemple:
team chosen 5 different maps for the set (1 dubs, 2 triples, 2 quads), the team is allow to switch map between game type for the next round, but can’t add a map that is not listed from the initial bracket stage round.
Settings can change as you wish between bracket set
Players can be shuffle as you wish between bracket set, any added players (if you have less than 6 members) or any substitute used is part of the whole Subs rule, remember that a player must have played at least 30 games to receive medal/prize.

Can the same map be used twice in the home set?

I assume yes because in the Group stage Dissension team used Usa 2.1 map twice in the set of 3.

yes, no obligation to have 5 maps, if a team wants to use the same map for the entire set it is up to them...the only restriction is as soon as the bracket start only the map(s) chosen can be reuse as wished for the rest of the bracket stage and for any game type.

If team chose 5 maps in quarterfinals, can they change later to 4 or lower number of maps (with one map being repeated twice or more).

yes, as long as the remaining map are all part of the initial choice from the quarter final.
then for the final you can take the one back you let for semi to insert it in the final.

So let’s say a team chose the following map in the 1/4 final; Hive, Gazala, Eurasia, Omaha, KCII

Then that team made it to the 1/2 final and only want to keep Gazala, Omaha, Hive

If that same team reach the final and want to use Eurasia, KCII and Hive, then all is within the rule because at all stage all used map are part of the initial 1/4 final choice.

Now if a team chose Eurasia for all 5 games in the 1/4 final then they will only have this map until the final included if they reach that stage.

Same applies if a team chose like Conquer Rome and Hive for the all 5 games, they will not be able to add a third map for the subsequent stage and would only be allow to play those 2 maps for any game/set.

Hope the above exemple help better and make sense.

Ok,

Can a team choose 5 maps for the knockout phase but choose to only use 4 of the first round, then bring the 5th in the second round.

Example.

Team says their maps are: France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, England

Round 1 they use: France, Germany, Italy, Portugal
Round 2 they use: France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, England

No, the choice from the 1/4 final is taking precedent for the subsequent stage. If you chose 4 maps for the 1/4 final the. you would only have those 4 maps to carry on to the next stage of the bracket

You explained that maps can. Be changed in semifinals and finals (among 5 chosen in quarterfinals) but are changes allowed among different sets of the same stage? For example quarterfinals have 3 home sets for higher seeded team, can maps be shuffled among these 3 home sets?

the exemple from Cayman was about the team starting the 1/4 final with 4 maps among the 5 games, then asking if a fifth map could be added, that is not allowed. I explained what is chosen from 1/4 final is to be use the way you want for subsequent stage, do you chose 1 map or all the way to 5 for the first stage then that choice to be held for the remaining stage.
Your exemple (josko) sais if you chose 5 maps, meaning if you actually play those 5 maps among the 5 games, sorry if i misinterpret your post.
You can’t chose 5 maps for the quarter final but in reality only playing 4 of them within the whole set.

But quarterfinals have 3 home sets, semifinals 5 home sets and finals 7 home sets played within one month between each other. Can we have different map choice among these 3 home sets?

no it’s 3 home set (1/4 final), 4 home set (1/2 final), 5 home set (final) for the highest seeded team, 2, 3 & 4 for the lower ranked team.

Yeah 3,4,5 it is. Can these sets differ from each other within the same stage or they have to be the same for the same stage?

each set can differ but you may only use players and maps from the preselected pool prior to start of playoffs

To clarify.
Let's say for the quarter final I decide to use KCI, KCII, Antartica, Pot Mosbi and Classic. ( and I am highest seeded team) .
I could do :
1st home set of the quarter : KCI, KCI, KCII, KCII, KCII
2nd home set of the quater 1 Antartica 2 times Pot Mosbi, 2 times Classic
3nd home set of the quarter 5 times Classic.

to my understadning yoru first set of the quarter would have to be KCI KCII Antartica Pot Mosbi Classic, then for the rest of that quarter and all following finals, you could choose from them.

Otherwise in your scenario you can only use KCI and KCII
