I need help on understanding game play.

Red only had 10 armies coming to them and maybe 10 more if they played their cards. So I am thinking no way he gets through all of my soldiers in North America.

My understanding is they can only use the troops coming to them. If you look at the log, they deployed their 10 troops to New England, that I owned and then proceeded to completely wipe out all of my troops. I am way confused. Can someone help me understand what happened here? Either there are some game rules I do not understand or they somehow cheated. Help me out.

Therefore, he owned it at the beginning of round 16 and dropped his 10 troops there.

it's freestyle for one, so he took two turns before you took one. he forted 34 troops up, dropped 10 so that's 44 then got decent dice to knock you around

I am just glad there wasn't cheating going on. I was going to stop playing the whole damn game if that was possible. I knew it was probably a limitation of my knowledge. So thanks for educating me!
