I search for waiting and ongoing speed games and invite these players to join. usually I fill up speed tournaments quickly on this way.shoop76 wrote:They are not getting filled. WTF, M&S and FBRD are taking the lead, The Risen is following behind....
And last night I waited for more than an hour and we never got passed 2 players.

If you speak about the speed tournament, usually those get filled when there is much more player logged, we have had 9 iterations for the first speed meaning 144 players who joined speed, this is way above the norm for this game type.shoop76 wrote:90 minutes later we are still at 3.shoop76 wrote:They are not getting filled. Re: 2020 CC Olympics - ONGOING - HAVE FUN!
Well I have been waiting close to 4 hours now and only 2 have entered. So i guess if you don't have a couple hours to spend on cc when these first come out you are screwed. Absolutely ridiculous that you can't fill an 8 player spreed tournament for one of cc's biggest events in 4 hours.
Re: 2020 CC Olympics - ONGOING - HAVE FUN!
during the weekend it took few hours to fill for me case, but sometime during the day it was much less than that, perhaps because it was the weekend...be patient it will fill.shoop76 wrote:Well I have been waiting close to 4 hours now and only 2 have entered. Re: 2020 CC Olympics - ONGOING - HAVE FUN!
More than 6 hours and we still have 2. I don’t know many people around that can be on here all day waiting for 1 tournament to start.
Re: 2020 CC Olympics - ONGOING - HAVE FUN!
This is probably an issue of most of the people who want to play in it already have. 48 people have already played in the first 6 iterations so they cant play again. unfortunately that is a reality of speed tournaments like this, most of the site does not want to play speed games.shoop76 wrote:More than 6 hours and we still have 2. Re: 2020 CC Olympics - ONGOING - HAVE FUN!
I understand all this, but then why create an event where 30% of all tournaments are speed whilst we all know speed games are not popular on this site. But if you don't join them you are very unlikely to be able to win the event. I will stop posting now, but its deeply frustrating that we have the same issues every time this event is run and no changes are aver made.Caymanmew wrote:This is probably an issue of most of the people who want to play in it already have. 48 people have already played in the first 6 iterations so they cant play again. unfortunately that is a reality of speed tournaments like this, most of the site does not want to play speed games.shoop76 wrote:More than 6 hours and we still have 2. The Speed tournament that we were just in started pretty fast, I was number 5 or 6 to join and it only took 5-10 minutes before the tournament started.shoop76 wrote:I understand all this, but then why create an event where 30% of all tournaments are speed whilst we all know speed games are not popular on this site. Re: 2020 CC Olympics - ONGOING - HAVE FUN!
How are scored Tribe events with non-equal number of participants?
The first Korea iteration has 10 Tribes but 16 players, so some Tribes have 2 and some Tribes have 1 player participating.
Is there a Tribal scoreboard or individual scoreboard?

Re: 2020 CC Olympics - ONGOING - HAVE FUN!
Also I see that prizes in Tribal tournaments are from place 1 to 16 (1-Gold, 2-Silver etc). Are they counted per individual placement then, or per Tribe placement of all participating Tribe members together?josko.ri wrote:How are scored Tribe events with non-equal number of participants?

Re: 2020 CC Olympics - ONGOING - HAVE FUN!
As you find out the prizes is made by players, the fact there is an « extra » scoreboard is because the « Tribes » entry limitation has been used and to somehow equalize the amount of participant per Tribes. The point goes to your Tribe as it would and you can disregards that in-tournament additional ranking, it doesn’t make sense.
As you know we didn’t had 16 actives Tribes and still not those day, i suggested to remove those type of tournaments and make them without Tribes limit coding but I was ask to keep it that way.
Since the limit per Tribes is 2 it is possible not all Tribes would appear playing within the same tournament...it’s unfortunate but can’t do anything different coding wise.

Re: 2020 CC Olympics - ONGOING - HAVE FUN!
Shouldn't the score of a tribe calculated as the total points accumulated by its members divided by the number of members taking part?

Re: 2020 CC Olympics - ONGOING - HAVE FUN!
I might be too strict, but last iteration of Fractured Kimono started at 6.55 CC Time, as can be seen in Game 19943475 but new iteration was never produced although new iterations should be produced until 7.00 CC Time.
Also, the first iteration of a tournament is usually produced around 7.15/19.15, therefore the Fractured Kimono series was opened for 23.40 hours instead of 24 hours.
Can an additional iteration of Fractured Kimono be released manually to make up for this mistake?
