Appeal of Block

Postby erikiscool on Sun Dec 22, 2019 5:23 pm

Hi I would like to appeal the block of Uncle Fred and I playing with each other.
The initial charge was multi or secret diplomacy.

We are obviously not a multi because we both have played thousands of games.
I live in North Carolina and Fred lives in Indiana.

It is true we are friends and when we played together sometimes we truced and sometimes we fought each other ...
but all of our truces were above board and in game chat which is in the rules.

Someone made a comment that Uncle Fred won most of the games when we truced, but he is simply a better player than I.

It has been almost two years since our ban and the moderator stated we could appeal the ban in the future.
It is Christmas and we would like to continue to play in games with each other.
We would be willing to abide by any required restrictions if only the ban could be lifted (such as only playing doubles games).
Thank you and Merry Christmas!

I am going to side with caution and block Uncle Fred & erikiscool from playing together for now. There are just lots of games where you two (coincidentally) tend to create truces in your non team games together as if it was already planned. You two seem to favor one another in your non team games. Play your games without each other for the meantime and you can make an appeal to have this block lifted in the future.

I worry about favoring my buddies in games. I tend to prefer playing team games with them for that reason. My social group does not seem to like team games. I guess it's like John and Paul, they want to play without being directed.
