I've been playing CC for years now and I had to come to the forum to find out what the f*ck has been going on. I thought a mod got mad they lost and cursed my account with bad luck. Ive lost like 5 games in a row due to bad dice. My stats were like -30% offense and defence and my opponents are +49%.

I can see why people quit over this

In the 13 years I've been here, it seems like one or twice a year I get in a slump where nothing goes my way. Have taken multiple short CC breaks and I feel one coming up. Just makes it a DRAG to even take turns. Dropped 5 ranks in last couple weeks. Fucking frustrating AF.

I spent half the day replacing water pump and starter in my brides car today. That was more fun than taking my turns here

Agreed KB, when it stops being enjoyable I take a break, have just had a game where 2 cooks played as stupid as could be but couldn't roll a bad die.

the dice suck and then suck some more.
The dice stats are wrong. I have lost so much and the dice stats say oh but you had positive rolls. How can I have positive rolls and loose.
Have a reset button for the dice stats so I can watch the general trend per month or quarter then I can see where I am at.
Quit changing the random number generator so often.
Get one that is consistent so things are not so one sided.
Announce every time you're changing the random number generator so no not to play speed games until it settles down.

Bringing the conversation back on topic, the number generator can be changed 40 times a day and still have no effect. Swapping one not working product for another not working product, will achieve nothing.

Don't quote me on this but something in the line of the same 10000 numbers being used and gave more 2 or 4.

I think it was more like 50,000 but pretty much yeah.

I find it hard to believe it's 100% random when the one player can dominate another over and over. I am +760 in points on Feudal Epic with 42% win rate but I have lost every Poly match (8 now) I have played against a certain player... checked the logs and chat in some of them and...

Game A) He won a 20 v 30 (15% chance) to turn the game around

Game B) He won a 25 v 37 (15% chance) to turn the game around

Game C) I lost a 21 v 3 that turned the game around

Game D) He won a 38 v 53 (18% chance)

Other games not mentioned had noted in chat how I lost 10+ troops trying to card against a neutral(2) early in the game and then consistently roll bad with that same color all game. So i roll perfectly fine in any game on that map except against this particular opponent... and that's random?

To add to Game D) He wins a 17 v 20... wins 17 v 23 next turn... then I lose 13 v 8 following turn and a 19 v 4 on the next turn as well.

I haven't seen you drop below Colonel in forever... so whatever run of bad luck you're having, it obviously isn't enough to show up in your overall score.

Well these games have been spaced out. Thankfully he hasn't joined every game I put up

It would make more sense if it was happening in different games and against multiple opponents and I wouldn't feel the need to complain so much about it but for the same person to have that consistent of good dice against me, or anyone, in EVERY game we've played and multiple times in the most recent game is just unreal. Dice stats also said my defense was +8% at the time... LMAO

I did a couple of years ago when the dice in every critical situation would fail. And it went on for months, even though my dice stats would show normal. But that doesn't show how for months every time it was critical the dice would run crazy. 10-2 would lose. 4 attacking my 10 would win. Drove me to the point of dropping all games. Who cared about score, I was going to lose anyway. I started exploring other sites, even played a few games elsewhere. But I came back and my year in dice hell ended and I play here. Just foe the trolls and this is a very pleasant place.

cc or risk is not a strategy game, its a dice game, he who rolls the most 6s wins.

There is definitely something wrong with the dice algo.

The defender gets way too many 5 sixes with 6 dice etc to be coincidence.

Ive wondered if removing the 6 for defenders would help.

I understand its the same for everyone but it destroys the game when it happens.

World at War is the same way, but there at least has an equalizer option. Helps sometimes.

I have been told the algo that actually works is owned by Hasbro.
