Yeah that’s been brutal. You’ve had to cover a to.
Re: [CC9] R4: TOFU (12) vs FOED (16)
Just did a count up of the score including leans: I’ve got it at 23-23 with 9 undecided. I imagine most would come up with a similar score maybe +/- 1 in either direction.
Looks like it could come down to the wire!

If you can predict escalating games that you aren't in you are better at prognosticating than I am. If they seem close I just call them even. I feel pretty good about a handful or so of the games I'm active in...less good about some and pretty pessimistic about a couple.
Re: [CC9] R4: TOFU (12) vs FOED (16)
The only escalating game I gave us as a strong lean was Rail euro quads. The other 5 were Hive, both Gallipolis, Span Arm dubs, and Pearl Harbor.rockfist wrote:If you can predict escalating games that you aren't in you are better at prognosticating than I am. Definitely not Salem’s. At least I hope not. Ugh to that map.
In all likelihood, FNA quads probably ends up being the map that could take the longest to figure out a winner. Both teams deploying about the same right now and it has the makings to last a while. A bunch of escalating games will wrap up within the next week or so and that will give more insight as to the outcome.

Spanish Armada dubs is no longer a strong lean to you. Even to a slight lean for us.Fyrdraca wrote:The only escalating game I gave us as a strong lean was Rail euro quads. Yes I had not got a chance to post that here.loutil wrote:Spanish Armada dubs is no longer a strong lean to you. Final score gonna be very close I think. Would be surprised if it doesn’t end up 29-26 or 28-27 to the victor. Been a fun war, lots of good games. And pretty solid luck (or lack thereof) to both sides in the games I’ve been in.
Re: [CC9] R4: TOFU (12) vs FOED (16)
Our games together have certainly been (mostly) dice dominant both ways. We ran over you in District of Alaska and Pot Mosbi. You ran over us in New Zealand, Fractured China and Hive. Only our game on First Nations seems balanced.Fyrdraca wrote:Yes I had not got a chance to post that here.loutil wrote:Spanish Armada dubs is no longer a strong lean to you. I
We can agree to disagree about Hive, but the point is well-taken. I should have said in my games there have been an equal amount of really lopsided games that were over fairly early on.
The only game (of mine) that was true card luck was FNNA trips, that one was frustrating.
Y’all had first turn and nice control of utilities in Mosbi, but we were set to still have a good shot to make some noise. But you stifled that with good strategy and a few nice rolls.
FNA quads has definitely been the most intriguing game I’ve been in. Could very well end up deciding the war.

Re: [CC9] R4: TOFU (18) vs FOED (19)
Not much action in this thread so don’t know how many are reading it, but here’s what I think to be a fair estimate of the current score:
24 (FOED) - 24 (TOFU)
Counting as concluded wins for FOED: Gallipoli trips, Rail Euro, Pearl Harbor, New Zealand
Counting as concluded wins for TOFU: Span Arm dubs, FNA trips, CR dubs, Rail Africa, Denmark
Not counted but strong leans:
FOED - Salem’s, Rail SA
TOFU: not sure any strong leans not counted above
Leaves 5 undecided games: Labyrinth, FNA quads, CR quads, NW Pass, Chinese Checkers
CR quads appears to be a FOED lean, NW pass appears to be a TOFU lean
Labyrinth appears to lean FOED, but way too much can happen with those settings
FNA and Checkers seem to be very close to even, with Checkers likely being decided in the next round as cashes will come into play
Thoughts?

It will be decided soon although it may not be known by all when it is.

Don't worry, loutil just loves to use dice as his excuse for every lost game, it's his very shiny crutch.Fyrdraca wrote:We can agree to disagree about Hive, but the point is well-taken. But win or lose, this has been a bleedin deadly war and I'd just like to thank all of our opponents in all games. TOFU is a tough not to crack!
I wish you all the very best and will be really, really, really; really, really, really; REALLY happy if (when) FOED wins out in the end...

It's definitely one for The Archives. We would be very honoured and proud...MTIceman41 wrote:29-30 for foed it looks like; seems like it’s a classic.
But the Halls of Fame will only be filled when Don makes steak tartare out of us in The Final...

I could say a lot of things here but it’s best if I just say good war FOED deserves the win and sign off.

Awesome result.
Well done to all in FOED

Is this the year that a Conquerors Cup Final is played without either TOFU or S&M ?
