For some reason, these posts/topics did not get posted yesterday...

DIBS

18. The #2, #3, #4, #5, or #6 player may call “DIBS” to challenge the #1 player if the #1 player is currently being challenged by someone in the Top 6. If the player calling “DIBS” falls out of the Top 6, he/she also loses their “DIBS” to play the #1 player. There will only be one “DIBS” at a time.

As the rule clearly states, only one person can call DIBS. Right now, that person is Lord Arioch (Erik). Elric has not posted the win in our match yet, therefore, Lord Arioch cannot issue his challenge for the #1 spot.

Once that challenge is issued, then DIBS is open again. All posts to the Forum are recorded chronologically, so whoever calls DIBS first after Lord Arioch issues his challenge will get it.

As of right now the DIBS called by MGSteve and Elaterate are both invalid.

MATCH REPORTING

I like Duk's suggestion for the revision of Rule #14 and after reviewing all of the rules, I've added that the winner of the match must report. This saves me time from having to research matches where players claim to win the first two games and "should" speed up reporting.

Rule 14 now says:

14. No matches can be reported until all games are completed. The winner of the match must report the win to the Forum.

You are not going crazy or seeing cockeyed or seeing double. I use that bottom slot to paste a player's stats when I am adjusting the Ladder. That is why you see Chap's info twice. Been doing it that way for years, so I'm surprised you just now saw it.

Yes, this will be handled as a forfeit. It has been recorded and Silly has been moved to the Inactive Player list.
