He's gonna be a car salesman. From all accounts, a sweet job if you can actually sell 'em. And he's a natural charmer.

Depending on the lot and how it's managed, fast food might be a lot less greasy than selling used cars.

Agreed. I used to have a games shiop, and I would actively discourage buying certain games. Not refuse to sell them, but if I thought something was a rip-off or just naff, I would heavily recommend something else.

he decided he couldn't be so far from his daughter after all - back to NJ, though he does have two interviews lined up over there and somewhere to live, so more organised than he usually is.

That's better new actually. I have respect for someone who will work at Burgerking to be with his kids instead of working a better paying gig that takes him away. There are lots of jobs but if he's careful he'll only have a few children.

Not that I'm trying to get him to make whoppers, I just love them so much I can't not include them in conversation.

Yeah, he came here 'cos his roomies moved out and he couldn't pay the rent on his pwn, also he lost his job over there at about the same time. Worryingly, he is to live in the basement of his ex's mother's house. What could go wrong?

At least it's a new version of where the millennial lives...

Yeah, that will be tough but she is obviously trying to play nice because she wants the little one to have good access to dad too. Tell him at least one Internet weirdo is rooting for them all.

I hope and pray he can find an affordable place very near them and a job he enjoys. He obviously has good intentions and that goes a long way in life as you and his mom have demonstrated.

Funny how much more our actions sink in than all the stuff we try to tell our children.

Well, fast work - it seems he has a job (subject to background check) with T-Mobile, selling phones. Which is slightly ironic as his ex does the same with Sprint.
