Re: [CC7] Round 4, S&M [9] vs TOFU [12]
this match is going to come down to the wire. I also don't think either team will reach 30, and it will feel like we have been in a war.
There have been mistakes on both sides. But all in all, a clean fun war.
Looking forward to the second half finish....
then the winner gets a fortunate break while awaiting the winner of FALL/ FOED.
That should also be a good matchup.

I agree. The next round may feel anticlimactic. Never easy facing you guys...davekettering wrote:this match is going to come down to the wire. I also don't think either team will reach 30, and it will feel like we have been in a war.

I think his point is we need to get there and that is still in flux. When we get there we really don't care who we face.
Re: [CC7] Round 4, S&M [9] vs TOFU [12]
Yep. None of those are a surprise, but an unwelcome reality in a close contest. The lead may change hands several times before the outcome is known.

It most likely will.rockfist wrote:Yep. None of those are a surprise, but an unwelcome reality in a close contest. The lead may change hands several times before the outcome is known.
I see 5 key toss-up games...28-27 S&M feels just right.
I tried my best to out-voyeur EWays on these games...but no one on CC comes close to him in that category
Going with my gut on this one.
It has been a classic one...a monster of a war actually...a battle to the death...reminisce to some great world war scuffles in ardennes and gallipoli to put in frankly.
Good vibes to anyone in texas dealing with RL sh*t and in South Asia (india/nepal/etc) FIGHT ON!

You're a good man, thanksGood vibes to anyone in texas dealing with RL sh*t and in South Asia (india/nepal/etc) FIGHT ON
Two typhoons hit us last week - one a direct hit and with many fatalities and incredible damage - and now we're bracing for a third (!) that is making its way towards us across the South China Sea.
As the saying goes "When it rains it pours". No shit!
p.s. I like 28-27 too (well 'like' is the wrong word really, but that's how I see it finishing too)

my prediction is it ends 27-27 and things heat up so much in the final lingering game that the site just crashes and the war never really ends. i know it's a long shot.

With this scenario this war would have it all - minus it being a final.emilywink wrote:my prediction is it ends 27-27 and things heat up so much in the final lingering game that the site just crashes and the war never really ends. i know it's a long shot.

but honestly, my guess at this point is TOFU taking it, winning 30-25 or 29-26. But i sure hope i am wrong.

Which games do you have for TOFU that you have us winning by such a margin?emilywink wrote:but honestly, my guess at this point is TOFU taking it, winning 30-25 or 29-26. But i sure hope i am wrong.

S&M is on the boost, from 7-12 with 6-0 series to new lead 13-12!

Re: [CC7] Round 4, S&M [13] vs TOFU [12]
This thing has had more twists and turns than a Labyrinth. Although you may win, I don't expect you to lead from 13-12 to 28 to whatever. Both sides have some wins coming and have turned games recently.

Awfully quiet. Josko, I've asked Dave this but have you always had your KoRT sig on since the merger? If it's just for this war I must say I've enjoyed it.

Re: [CC7] Round 4, S&M [14] vs TOFU [14]
I would bet that both sides are holding their breath as I don't see either side with enough sure things to get to 28 and the advantage that either side has seems to hinge on any one dice roll in several key games. Of the games I am still playing two seem to be sure losses (heck one could be over as I type this) and three seem to be sure wins. Two are in doubt...and that is the story of this whole war...neither side is separating from the other to any decisive margin.

Both of you lose and the FALL vs FOED is now declared the official finals war

That would be awfully one-sided.JPlo64 wrote:IcePack wrote:Both of you lose and the FALL vs FOED is now declared the official finals war
This is tense.

Re: [CC7] Round 4, S&M [14] vs TOFU [14]
It is, but it isn't...there are roughly 16-20 games that are basically decided, roughly half for each clan. You could argue around the margins of that statement, but I think its basically true. I can't conceive of a way that either clan fails to hit 23 wins based on what I can see of the games in this war. So, although turns may be taken in those 16-20 games they aren't turns that "matter." Its only the turns in the 9-10 or so games that are competitive that "matter." Now of those 9-10 games you could certainly say some of them favor one clan over the other and I wouldn't disagree with that idea, but to what degree would be a matter of debate and you are arguing over what shade of grey something is.

wow this war is pretty much advanced, thought it started a few weeks ago
