I presume this vote is based on another hissy fit because you don't agree with dakky. Do you actually find him scummy, or are you just annoyed that he was gunning for you? And now you've unvoted.

Dakky's almost instant reaction was to suggest benga and I were both mafia and had staged this play to f*ck with town and clear one of us for the game. I explained how that would be ridiculous given how many people are alive, and that the 3rd party/parties are currently unknown. They should be our priority right now regardless.

You had already started attacking dakky before that suggestion came about. Almost every game features a "maybe they're both scum" accusation, so I'm not sure why or how that has anything to do with a case on him. It's just a fluff post, which is a different type of crime completely.

Funny Benga. I thought you'd be the first to jump on Caff about his third party comments. Normally Tracker isn't super difficult to confirm or at least support but the jailkeep obviously interferes with that.

Caff never denied being blocked and his reaction seemed to support that he had known he was blocked. So I don't think going after him for now on that account is particularly valid as an argument.

I never disagreed that the "maybe their both scum" argument comes about, but so early on with 17 people still alive - that would be rather opportunistic for mafia don't you think? I already explained how it would be a viable strategy later on but with so many people alive, and it being rather hard to maintain a fake power role as mafia, that would be too ambitious in my book.

You're forgetting that Caff was jailed (or as you say blocked), but either way the night kill didn't happen.

I never said anything about accidentally deleting it. I just deleted it. My inbox fills and self-deletes in under a week. I know my role and what I do. There was nothing else in the PM I needed. The name was meaningless to me since I don't know Mass Effect lore.

"deleting" the PM sounds silly since you can have folders and move PM's to a folder which won't get deleted after new messages come in and Caff is an old member so...he knows how to do that... and preserve a Name to follow the lore... I just don't think he deleted the PM, he just don't wanna disclose his real name... so my vote stays.

Exactly, but maybe that's just a play from Caff. He could have asked mod already to resend it, but he didn't. Instead he cried here about deleting it. I'm kinda on the same frequency with Hotshot here, half claim and a lame excuse. I want a name so someone can counter claim or not.

*shrugs*My post did come out sounding a bit more supportive of Caff than i originally intended. I was more interested in Benga's slight backtrack (I still think he's town, I just thought the timing was strange considering recent revelations) and what I considered a bad piece of evidence than piling on redundant reasoning. I'm just not interested in commenting on the half claim right now until the situation plays out a bit more. That said, barring a REALLY solid name claim or some massive amount of evidence on someone else, Caff is the lynch du jour.

1. I didn't know I could get the PM re-sent, but DDS re-sent it for me.

2. I didn't cry about shit. I just said I deleted the PM and honestly I didn't really care. I have folders in use for other things related to my clan. I could've saved the PM or copied it into a document or some shit sure but I never really foresaw this happening.

I thought the deadline was Tuesday. I can verify my character is from that list. Replacement is lame and No Lynch is the absolute worst thing in the history of the world (I hope you're reading this, o benevolent mod).

I remember Hackett being fairly prominent in Mass Effect 2, so even if he wasn't there as much in the first game, I can believe he would be a town role here.

Blah. Sorry about disappearing again. Rl got busy and made it harder for me to coke onto here.

I'm not really buying the case against Caff. Yes his lack of name claiming was suspicious but a tracker is something we want around and something that could give a lot of useful information if he was teling the truth. I'm suspicious of those that quickly jumped on his case. There were ways to ask for information that would have better fit it.

In particular at some points it felt like Ragaims reasoning was weak and like it was trying to push something to happen without solid reasoning behind it.

Not to mention it makes for an easy bandwagon. Me and Skoffin have both posted where is the post that Pika promised?

I also still don't trust MM or Pika. MM was the latest one to jump on the weak Caff wagon without second thoughts (and with weak reasoning) and almost just as quickly unvoted him. While the unvoting makes sense it feels like trying to fall the majority too much to me. I think either of them would be a good target to go after.

I also get the feeling that Strike and Doom are town from their posts.
