In two rounds me and my opponent had deployed the same amount, but I was down 16 regions and had less troops. In another game, my opponent won 28v41 with 9 leftover. But yeah, no streaky dice, definitely improved. Keep talking bullshit man. Or maybe be honest to your paying customers about where this piece of shit dice algorithm is coming from.

I think the dice algorithm is a pile of shit. I think bigWham is fake and a liar. He says we no longer use the 50k file and instead have something better, but outright refuses to give his paying customers any details on where the dice are being sourced from. As customers who pay year on year, don't we have a right to know we're not paying for a faulty product? Also, why has nobody noticed an improvement? Isn't that odd? Sure, you will always get people who non-stop complain about the dice, but they're usually idiots. Personally, I don't make a habit of whining about dice rolls, and many players I know don't either, but they all say these dice are fucked. You can't label everyone who says the dice are shit with the same crap excuse. If they're so much better than the 50k file, why doesn't bigWham tell us how they're better?

The number of active users on this site will never see an increase. It's online risk, not an MMO, RPG or FPS. It's not a popular type of game; it's dated and been out-grown.

You know, there used to be people who once said "vinyl records are dead." (I might have been one of them.) But it's not dead. Even CD stores (who are probably dead these days as well) have signs that says "we sell vinyl." The people who buy vinyl records today were probably born after the CD player.

Clearly this isn't going to be "Angry Birds." But the potential for a niche market means that, yes, the number of active users on this site could increase. By significant multiplies? Probably not. I don't think we need to move the system to the Amazon Cloud in order to handle massive scaling problems (and we don't have latency issues that would require major server distributions to geographic regions; it's nice for Asians, Americans, and Europeans to play the same game, even if they don't do it at the exact same time).

Even if we somehow saw a minimal increase, my point of tailoring this site towards those who play every day still stands, versus trying to find ways to increase membership. Those who would fit your description of a niche market player would come anyway.
