Thanks benga and all at OSA for yet another thoroughly challenging and enjoyable war.
I'm sure we'll meet again soon if the Conquer Gods will it. They usually do. ;) :D

I see that Fiasco are doing themselves proud. But we'll now be getting our dragon slaying gear ready...

I don't know why you think I would be bothered by this. :?

My guess is: http://challonge.com/tournaments/309055 ... ons/107173

I don't care about any of the rounds in the prediction as long as I picked the winner correctly, I'll be happy. :D

Time to face off against some old partners, though I most certainly prefer to feast on proper meat.

I don't think you will be the one feasting my friend. We have a long and illustrious history of advancing past the quarter finals.

I am curious whether it'll be TOFU or S&M on that side of the bracket advancing. Assuming they clear ATN/PACK first, that should be one interesting war to follow.

I'd say S&M is the favorite over us right now, but I think we are capable of beating anyone.

On Sunday night I had precisely no sleep whatsoever, I then had a 2hr nap after work yesterday and couldn't get to sleep again until around 4:30am, giving myself a 4hr sleep before work. To stay awake for work I had four pro plus, two cans of monster and several coffees. I expect the majority of that caffeine didn't actually kick in until the evening which is why I spent over 4hrs struggling to find that sweet slumber.

I know, don't worry. There was a time when I'd drink one monster and seven coffees daily. I had a fun experience learning why I shouldn't do that.

I've never done that but I took 8 no-doze at once back in the day and went running just to see how it would be (I didn't have any super bad effects from it other than puking and feeling dizzy).

I'd had heart palpitations a few times, but I remember one day getting them and it felt extremely severe. I called 111 which is like a hospital health advice line, rather than emergency services. They sent out an ambulance to do an ECG and by the time they arrived I felt like it had calmed down, yet my heart rate was still ~170bpm. I'd estimate I was over 200 when it initially began. Really brought a literal meaning to "my heart is beating out of my chest". I do have a naturally high resting heart rate of around 80pm but yeah.

Re: [CC7] Conquerors Cup VII Main Thread [FINAL] Winner: S&M

Postby groovysmurf on Tue Nov 22, 2022 8:14 pm

Viewing this now, we see this tournament was never fully closed out properly. NO medals were given to the winning clan, MVP or the runner-ups and no final announcement of the winner/runner-up and MVP officially declared here at all. Credits were given to the MVP and the winner of the prediction contest and somehow the organizer medals were awarded... No idea how or why the closing out was only partially done, though. Very sorry this happened.

Winner: S&M. MVP: davekettering. Runner-Up: FALL

Retroactively fixing and awarding achievements now.
