Deadbeating Because His Dice Were Bad

Postby Uncle Death on Thu Apr 06, 2017 11:30 am

Sorry if this is the wrong forum thread whatever you call it. I'm more amused than annoyed. A player joined the game I created and because he thought his dice were bad he commented " no point in playing against your dice, I have no chance, sorry". I asked if that meant he wasn't taking anymore turns and they replied " I don't waste time on games where the dice already determined the winner". They did take a turn finally but are dragging out the game. Is this common now?

I don't think it's common, no.

It does happen, and it has always happened, but I think it continues to be a rare type of tantrum.

I would say its common in 1v1 speed games, though less so now because of the resign button in trench games.

I would consider it poor form in a 24 hour game, esepcially against a freemium as that ties up a valuable spot for 3 days

Owen I am surprised at you. Are you getting lazy? You didn't check the game. Your advice is usually much better than this.

I often find it's the high ranked elite players who drag out games when they start losing against me. Real babies some of them. :)

We were playing in real time and he then made the comment and stopped playing. He missed a turn and I made the complaint. He's dragging the turns out and he can but at least he's taking them and that is probably a result of the complaint.

Let's be really clear about this- you posted in the Cheating and Abuse forum that a player was cheating for deadbeating in a game that he did not deadbeat in. Indeed, it's still an ongoing game as I post.

What do you mean "getting"?
