Ok, after that anticlimactic start to this endeavour, we next have a Terminator game on Bamboo Jack: Game 13344996

11 player, manual, sequential, escalating, chained, fog.

Only the creator, tryagain is not premium and his last completed game was in this number range. So we'll have to endure him deadbeating. But, I promise it will be fun afterwards!

6 spots left!

Butters, I passed on the game you linked to, but the next one had only one slot left, so I joined that one. Thanks for the idea. =)

The good idea would be that those old games are automatically deleted.

And for this kind of stuff :

Ok, after that anticlimactic start to this endeavour, we next have a Terminator game on Bamboo Jack: Game 13344996

Someone made a suggestion no sot long ago that I think is the solution ( I made the suggestion ) :

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=208282&p=4566934#p4566934

Has to be done ! I think it's simple work ( the code already exist for speed game somehow it should be possible to use something similar for sequential game) and would avoid most of deadbeating players from round 1.

Of course since it was a simple suggestion no one argued about it, no one comment about it, and I am assuming no one from CC staff did notice it.

Yes. But, since membership is slightly (cough) reduced from years ago and hardly anyone visits the forums anyways, I thought I'd post it where it would be more likely to be viewed. If a mod deems this better suited to call outs, so be it.

And not move arbitrary map complaints to the foundry forum to forever rest unread! Yes I'm unhappy about that one.

Butters, it looks like great minds think alike. Except, I have a different approach.

Since call outs are only so effective, I have found the best way to fill these games is to actually join them and inviting players to the game. I have filled close to 20+ games this way. It's a bit tedious and can take a few days depending on the game settings, but it can be done. Team games are the trickiest to fill so far.

If you'd like, I could explain my method of filling the games in greater detail. I certainly could use the help, I'm only one person....

hey... the rules vary, depending which mod is at the switch. this obviously should have been moved to call outs, but someone, for personal reasons, probably disagreed with whomever suggested it be moved. go to the top, click the " ! " and report it as being in the wrong forum, which it is... last thing we need is dead parts of the forum, coming into the GD to try and get some eyeballs... those of us that have stuck it out in the GD, should not be rewarded by being flooded with crap from other parts of the forum that don't have as loyal/rabid of users... imagine what would happen if when this part of the forum died, we moved over to off topics... jeez...-Jésus noir

Owen, having someone to talk to isnt punishment. If you want to have a little space to chat to just a few then you are asking the site to die. You know this, you also know this site wasnt what it once was, dont pretend otherwise.

All discussion, except for discussions about tournaments or clans or off-topic, should be in this forum. Having too many forums really accentuates the emptiness of this place.

then you need to openly change the forum rules, because that is not what they state. is this an official TEAM CC announcement or just how you feel? can you please clarify? thank you...-Jésus noir

if you talk in the appropriate place, people that are interested in that, will go there... if we begin to place all chat within the general discussion, there is an issue... delete the portions of the forum that you want to now be in the GD or keep it all neat and tidy as it is. at one time, the foundry led by andy, declared that the GD got more traffic than the foundry, because it was higher up on the Forum List. people in GD argued that nobody went to the foundry due to the arrogance and elitist attitude of foundry members... soooo, they moved the foundry above the GD and the decline in traffic continued... if the discussion is dying in the area of the forum that you are interested in, then revive it. many of us that post in here, realize it is now a veritable ghost town, but we keep poking at each other, bitching, whining, reporting each other, etc... and guess what, we are one of the few places in the forum that are still active and alive... don't piggy back on this portion of the forum because others are withering... fix them... be more active in that section of the forum.. how about joining some of the games and in return, that player joins yours... don't just drop shit into the GD...-JN

my intention, if this get's any traction, is to simply update the first post with the next games in line. no need to worry about unrelated posts here. if anything, it'll keep the thread near the top of the pile.

which, would mean, an active call out thread within the GD... so, why don't we all go over there and float a nice GD thread at the top of the call outs forum?-Jésus noir

what if they move the thread to call outs where it belongs, instead of piggy backing on the GD? doesn't belong here, shouldn't be here and there is no reason for this to not be moved. the black jesus has spoken...-Jésus noir
