I was going to challenge but every time I make a game someone joins it even though I have invite and reserved. Freemiums can't make private games. Am I missing something?

When you create your challenge games, are you putting the other player's name in Player 2 spot? That's how I create my games for my challenges. Don't worry about putting a name in the Player 1 spot, the computer automatically puts you there.

Does that still work for Freemium members? I thought they couldn't invite either

To the best of my knowledge (never been a freemium), freemium have been able to create and invite to their challenge games...but I really don't know.

If you try again and cannot invite your opponent .. post the challenge here as well as PM who you are challenging as well as sen me the settings and the person you want to battle and I will create the games for you the next time I am on ... REMEMBER I NEED THE SETTINGS FOR THE MATCHES

Those players who have not been challenged or issued their challenge will be randomly placed into a 1v1 match using best two (2) out of three (3) games with Esc - Chained - Sunny - No Trench settings"

Today, is Day 8 of the Ladder Reset, so the following games will be created by ElricTheGreat and sent out to each player. Please post your games and results as normal to this thread.

I'm heading on vacation for a week (Oct.13 thru Oct 19) and will need a sitter for my second Ladder match. As per the rules, all sitters need to be pre-approved by Admin (Rule #22).

I can't make a ruling that benefits me, so I'm asking the Council for approval for having a sitter.

As per Rule #11 in the Ladder Reset rules, ElricTheGreat is currently creating all of the necessary challenges for those who have not initiated their own. You will receive three games with your opponent. Please accept these games. Only the match results need to be posted from games created by ETG.

Your opponent was chosen randomly using Random.org.

As always, the Ladder works chronologically. When I return, I will update the GoT Challenge Ladder from posted match results.

If there are any questions, please post them here. My Small Council will be monitoring the thread to help out. My Small Council will not be updating the GoT Challenge Ladder.

I think you need to have two challenges, one when you challenge and one when you are challenged.

I'm not going to requote the whole thing...just the important parts...

Torres - You have to play two matches. One match is where you challenge another player. The other match someone challenges you.

Not everyone has made their challenge...That is why I'm having ETG create the matches. That is the first name you see in the match. If you have not been challenged, then you are the second name.

Hope this clears it up for you...

If 2 players win all their games. Is it advisable to be the 2nd player to finish their games so they will become No 1 by playing the "Jon Snow" aka Twist #1? It looks to me that playing very slowly may be the way. Could do with some clarity here.
