I think this just became a discussion on the merits of IB being scum. My onions on slash have been well estaflishednes and I still think he's scum. After yesterday I think it's worth a good look at IB as he led the charge on DJ (and away from slash) with no sinificant argument.

Indeed. I hope I am now vindicated in the eyes of anyone who was skeptical of my suspicion of IB the whole time. This doesn't mean he's scum, but it does mean he is worth a look.

Kind of hard if you hide and post nothing of substance and that logic could apply to pretty much everyone. Seems that is the default excuse to make sure no one gets lynched.

No, this is some bullshit. The / lynch was locked in. I committed to providing the seventh vote, and I only didn't pull the trigger because I wanted us to have more time for discussion. But then everyone else decided to go off in their own directions as they pleased, and look at the good that got us.

Carm down, I was just wurried dat teh dedline was looming and votes were too spred out until we got dat flood of votes on DJP at teh end. We avoided teh no-linch, but for a wile it was looking like teh vote cood be split between DJP and /.

Okay, it sucks dat we linched another Town, but I tink DJP cood have dun a lot moor to apeer Town and , in dat sense, let us down a bit. Like I've sed a few time awreddy, he was Town in teh Beginner game too, but came verry verry close to getting linched in dat game.

So, wear to frum hear? Wile I can see how dis puts a bit of cloud over IB, as teh "sponser" of teh linch, I don't tink it puts him ahed of / and Player at dis point. We do need to dig into IB's posting histery tho. DJ was vanilla town, so am I. I don't know that the evidence against / is great. I stand by my statement that IB seems more and more scummy. My particular point is both his "assurance" to me when I questioned that killing off so many townies was not bad, rather to be expected AND the complete insistence of lynching many that wound up being scum.

That said, it is likely that one of us townies will be killed off tonight, so the game may well be over. I am going to be busy the next few days, getting things ready for Easter and such.

In well over two months of playing, DJP failed to post enyting of value to Town, and his vote pattern was pritty dam bad (and similar to yores, I point out agin). Botom line: he looked scummy, and he prob wood have been linched eny time from D3 onwords if Falko hadent put teh noose around his own neck and then we had teh alinement definer saga to werk thru. Orl dat pritty mutch aplies to you too.

risky, the problem is when town are divided, say 3 on each of 2 lynches, where only one is scum, you can be sure the townie will be lynched cos mafia will add their votes.

the solution to this, is to pick a confirmed townie and all vote the same as him or her......it is important that all town agree a lynch for a scum to be lynched.

the difficulty is in deciding who is confirmed townie.

I would be a strong runner having been cleared by a cop investigation and getting all my lynch votes right so far.....but i may be a crafty mafia who was bus driven. On the other hand you may prefer aladdin who has analysed this game to the nth degree....or ib who gave us our first antitown lynch.....or perhaps benga or deg both seemingly cleared by the definer....but could yet both be scum, hard to see how only one of them could be though.

that only leaves player, who let slip she was scum, catcher and slash.....oh and mets who claims a pr role that has yet to be helpful to town. do we choose from these or are we being tricked by ib, aladdin or the benga/deg combination?
