Interpol rocks. You know how there's that similarity in vocals between them and Joy Division, and also by She Wants Revenge? Do you like joy division or SWR, or just interpol? I like all 3 bands but interpol is my favoritenagerous wrote:The Shins, Sufjan Stevens, Modest Mouse, Interpol, Arcade Fire and Bloc Party

No I haven't heard it, and no I don't believe it. But God only knows what they'd say about me if they tried to do it; probably that I have multiple personalities. I can't be pigeonholed as any one "personality type", seeing as I listen to all kinds of genres. On a side note, I heard that one can be psychologically profiled by the kinds of music one listens to. Anyone else hear about that?
Pearl Jam
Metallica (early days, not their more recent sh1t)
Nirvana
Duran Duran
Beatles
Neil Diamond
Johnny Logan
Can't remember any others off the top of my head right now

Corrected a few errors. And Yes, In My Darkest Hour is great. I got a playlist where it is followed by Going Under by Evanescence (a 'newer' fav). BTW, what made you give up on Megadeth?Dmunster wrote:In My Darkest Hour is an epic. Used to love em.Jenos Ridan wrote:My current favorite is probably Megadeth, though Zepplin and AC/DC is up there too. The song A Tout Le Monde from the Youthanasia album is perhaps the most well-written, heart-felt ballad ever written, rivaling Dream On by Aerosmith. If I am in the mood for 'rage' music, then either Sweating Bullets or Reckoning Day.
On a side note, I heard that one can be psychologically profiled by the kinds of music one listens to. Anyone else hear about that?

In your opinion only. Just remember, "there are as many opinions are there are men"- Anonomous Latin Quote. And paraphrasing a line from Platoon... no, I don't really know when they were around I only recently got into them but I definitely classify them before the eighties, definitely their style is different.Iz Man wrote:You don't mean Pink Floyd was an '80's band, do you?Iliad wrote:can't agree with you more.static_ice wrote:I like Pink Floyd but other than that it's just mid-90's and above...![]()
Since they started in '65.
Oh, btw. I've seen them twice.
The top two concerts I've ever been to.
