placebo7, mpolo [TG]

Postby judge_reinhold on Wed Oct 07, 2015 7:39 pm

]Accused:

placebo7
mpolo

The accused are suspected of:

Conducting Secret Diplomacy
or at least Throwing games (to each other. But isn't that the same thing?)

Game number(s):

Game 14252400 (only game one of them didn't win)
Game 14571671 (3 player, mpolo wins)
Game 14923365 (4 player including one new recruit, mpolo wins)
Game 15466973 (4 player, placebo7 wins)
Game 15482561 (3 player, placebo7 wins)
Game 15995281 (3 player, placebo7 throwing game to mpolo as we speak)

Comments:

5 games and only the oldest one had someone else win. They are either engaging in Secret Diplomacy or throwing games to each each other when it seems like one of them will lose. placebo7 just suicided into me in Game 15995281 and started name-calling for no apparent reason, saying explicitly that he will hand the game to mpolo.

I didn't know i was signing up for a 2v1 fight. They both attacked me early in the match, leaving me with almost nothing. They started ignoring me when I seemed like I wasn't a threat (eliminate me, then take on each other). But I stacked a couple of rounds and suddenly I was a suicide target.

This could be chalked up to coincidence. Its not statistically impossible for those wins to have occurred considering that each of those games had between 3 and four players so that either one of the accused would have win ratio that would be between 50 percent and 66 2/3 percent. Game 15995281 had judge_reinhold and placebo7 engage in a pissing match. Also the nature of three player games makes them likely that two players will end up against the other players at some point. The cheating seems rather unlikely when considering that the accused have only 6 games together while mpolo has played over 7000 and placebo7 has played over 1500.

You have given me a total of 6 games spread well over a long period of time. I dont see much through the game logs so far to back your claims, but will dig a bit deeper and for now this is PENDING

- Do away with 3 player wars and C&A reports will drop about 68%. [ **ATTENTION CC MEMBERS** ]- If you like playing 3 way, expect a lot of double teaming, be prepared to fight 2 people, and sharpen your truce skills (but do it in game chat ).

Really, 68%, lmao?! I mean, I know you didn't attempt at making any kind of calculation, but that's dumb.

I never expected to win anyway. I was trapped in Athens. And I wouldn't have ever filed anything, except placebo7 suddenly attacked me hard and lashed out in chat at me even though I had never done anything but smile at him in chat up to that point. :)
And he explicitly says "I'm going to hand the game to mpolo" (or something to that effect), which is what spurred me on.

mpolo has been friendly in chat, perhaps too friendly. He's friendly like Ernst Blofeld.

- I see you Judge, as far too superior of a player/person, to even be involved in a 3 way with unfamiliar and unpredictable players such as the likes.

- Caff.,, Its a good number, I think I'm within 10% + -,,,, Whatta ya want? Baseless or not, the % of SD reports go down without 3 way play, that friend is 100% guaranteed.

Sure. Let's just remove multiplayer games to completely and secret diplomacy will no longer be an issue. Team games and 1v1 only. Problem solved.

Whilst this is true :) ...
All 4+ no-round-limit non-objective games tend to become 3 player at some stage, so you've got to know how to play with 3 players. There is a way, but I'm not revealing my tactics ;)

What part of "this it true" don't you understand?
Yes it would solve the problem - it's hard to tell how seriously you are suggesting it, I suspect not very. Regardless, until it happens, I merely make an observation that there is a skill to 3 player situations from which players of games with more contestants would benefit.

- I am not at all suggesting removing 3 player,,I'm saying this,,IF you play 3 player, expect more often than not, that you will be ganged up on,,,except it, and unless you do serious homework/ investigation and compile evidence of repetition SD among members,,,,,then don't file à report, and just understand what's happening.

- That's all folks- Caff. should be here shortly to pick this apart. Good day/night/both ")

I wish either my father or my mother, or indeed both of them as they were in duty both equally bound to it, had minded what they were about when....

If 2 player fog game, please allow 12 hour snap courtesy, or post what I could have seen.... Thank you
