Well, I haven't really had much of a voice in about 3 months (seen my main doctor and an ear, nose, and throat doctor, neither are really sure what's going on) and I may have fucked up my ankle. Again. And that is getting pretty old. How do I know? I rolled it pretty good the other night and since then, I can't keep it down very long before it starts hurting and throbbing, standing is worse, and it actually begins to swell up from these, which it had never done before. I see the doctor who worked on my ankle on Friday and a voice therapist next week to see what they say.

So how was everyone else's weekend?

Not having a voice doesn't require a doctor. You sir, are truly blessed.

Already been dealt with, actually. Been wearing insoles for years, including when I originally hurt my ankle. Hasn't really helped with this. Flat footed (both feet), knock-kneed (opposite of bow-legged), and hyper-flexible (not quite double jointed, but most joints are a lot more loose/flexible than most other people's).

These guys have been together for about 3 years, and it has just been a total merry-go-round of break-up, make-up. Now that they've actually lived together for about two months they know that it just can't go on. I DID tell them so. (bites tongue).

Ah, one of those. Don't be surprised if they still hook up off and on until something major happens, like a big fight/argument or something that edges into the legal territory. Had a friend that was in a similar situation. His girlfriend was a psycho bitch though, so that may not really apply to you son's situation. And no, that is not an exaggeration. She tried to control his personal life (like hanging out with friends and doing hobbies), cheated on him on at least a couple of occasions, started calling to harass his mother, and the kid she had may or may not have been his (even had DNA tests done, though I never heard the results of it). I think I was one of his friends she tolerated the most, but I could not stand her. To go along with all that stuff, she constantly bitched and moaned whenever my friend wasn't around. She was not a pleasant person. Her parents were pretty nice though. Her, not so much.

Now he is happily married to another woman for 3 years and had a kid with her.

I'm in the big city staying on the 9th floor and I thought it would be cool to see the horizon and I tried to catch mercury. There is so much light pollution, I cant see a single star. What's the point of all these buildings if not for extended horizon viewing?
