This is a Tournament Players Association Year 5 [TPA5] event, and is governed by its rules, guidelines, and judgments which are detailed here: http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewto ... 9&t=207126
All are welcome to join and participate in the association. You do not need to do anything more than join one or more of the TPA5 events that will be announced on Mondays. Check back on the scoreboard to see how you're doing:

Setup
Like the real Davis Cup you are required to play 2 players and can play up to 4. So please sign up as a team of 2-4 players. 2 players must play the 2 singles matches. Anyone on the team can play the dubs. Please sign up as a country and include all team members. Pick a map, with settings for spoils, reinforcements, and fog/ no fog (there will not be a fog rule.)

This will be played in 2 phases
1. Qualifying - Each team will be randomly placed in 1 of 8 qualifying groups. If we get 32 teams this will we groups of 4. If less we might have some groups of 3. Top 2 will qualify for the elimination phase. 1st place in each group will have home court advantage. Each team will play other teams in their group home and way.
Ties will be broken by
1. Match wins
2. Game wins
3. heads up dubs match on random map with default settings
2. Elimination bracket phase. 1st place teams from group phase will be drawn again a random 2nd place team. Matchups will be on the 1st place team home court. Winners of these matchups will be randomly drawn against other winners using random.org where 1 will play 2, 3v4 and so on, Teams 1,3,5,7 will have home court advantage. This will be repeated for semis and finals.

2 best of 5 singles, (Team 1 Player A v Team 2 Player B) , (Team 1 Player B v Team 2 Player A)
1 dubs best of 5
2 best of 5 singles (Player A v A, and Player B v B)
