I guess what I meant to say is "finals should begin within seven weeks"

Anyway, finals have been sent out. ProsthoDoc has vanished from CC, so danervinsucks has been called up to replace him. I'm told that Iron Maid is also gone, but I'm not sure about that, so I sent out IM's invites. We'll see what happens. If IM doesn't accept invites, GreenBaize will be resurrected.

All these games should have been Terminator. I randomized them the same way as all the previous rounds. My apologies for the mistake.

The Standards are not much of a problem. It's easy enough to give points for the kills and score them as if they were Terminator. The one problem is the Assassin game, since there's no kills but one. Does anyone have any objection to scoring this one as follows:

• if it ends correctly (with someone killing their target) it becomes a winner-takes-all game of 9 points?
• if it ends imperfectly (with someone killing the wrong target, or by round limit) then the winner gets 3 points only.

Why not just make an additional game and the assassin one won'tr count for anything? Otherwise, anything's ok by me.

As I mentioned via private message ... I'm good with anything ... as log as people don't get bent out of shape when people are playing "standard" games using a terminator approach. So, we're scoring kills for the tourney purposes, but that might be counter-intuitive in some of these games in terms of points being awarded / lost.

I suppose it only affects 8 of us total though, so getting the word out to all of us shouldn't be too hard.

Thank you all for sticking with me. This will definitely not make the books as one of my better tournaments. Much of it happened while I was overwhelmed either at work or at home, and it led to a lot of delays and a lot of mistakes. I apologise for those, you guys deserve flawless tournaments!
