Because they are all different shades. It has always been like that.

Why do some of the numbers in the large map look funky? Also, I think the Uzbeg coordinate is off to the left a little on the large map.

something happened in the compression of the screenshot i took. it doesnt matter really though.

Also, I think the Uzbeg coordinate is off to the left a little on the large map.
yeah it needs to be one to the right. ill fix it and repost. but im going to wait and see if there are any others off so i dont keep reposting all the code.

OK... The bolder borders have been fixed and the outline of the bonus numbers also... Just waiting on any off-centre XML co-ords now and then I'll post the whole lot.

If you dont mind me asking...Why did you not use one colour for the continent...Why all the different shades of the same colour?

It's still great, just curious :)

The small map looks terrible with the Army circles looking squashed and spilling over the borders.

You still have some borders which are a little bolder in some places!!!

Well if you don't want to show me where you think the changes need to be made I can't change them! I can't see any difference in boldness in the current map. I don't mind making the changes, but don't start getting childish about it!

OK there's no need to get uptight about it. I'll take a look and lighten them, although I can only really see a difference in Kara Yusuf. Thanks for pointing it out, though.

As I said, Qwert, I've dealt with those to the best of my ability. I've gone through each area, and also those suggested by Wisse, and faded them to the point where, if they were any lighter, they would make the surrounding areas look too bold.

I cannot see any further areas which are bolder than elsewhere, so I am asking for clarification. A simple line saying 'the border between this and that' would be fine, but I have dealt with his previous advise to the best of my ability.

And another thing Guiscard you are the one who posts arrogantly towards me. Even in the being when the issue first cropped up. You couldnt see it!!!

But when Keyogi saw it and agreed with me you miracously re-gained your vision!!

If you want a nice map thats not going to be re-vamped in 2 months time then take a close hard look at the borders and im sure you will be able to see for yourself. As for me i couldnt care-less.

I think you'll find what I posted was:

Sounds like I wasn't gonna make any changes at that point, doesn't it?

Anyway, if you don't want to let me know what you think needs changing then I'm afraid we'll just have to forget it because I really cannot see a difference at this point.

I'll post the final images and XML with the correction now.

This is what you first wrote Guiscard mate. You dont need to play games with me as you wont win a prize. you clearly state you cant see the difference!!!So just grow up and if you dont want to fix them then dont.

And as for the borders, I know I'm a stickler for this in other maps but i quite honestly cannot see any difference in darkness. Perhaps it is the colour of the continent and unplayable land making it seem slightly different? There's no real reason for it to be any other darkness as all the borders were drawn with the same brush at the same time and have the same filters and effects applied. Anyone else have issues with the borders?

Be nice you two.

Hulmey, are you talking about the Great Khanate area? That's the only area I can see you maybe talking about, when you compare it to say Golden Horde. Perhaps part of west Yuan also. Is that what you are talking about?

Maybe a touch of fading, Guiscard, might do the trick.
