Hm, probably. I didn't make the comic though, so I'll send your petition on.

Re: Comics
Man, I'm really crushing on John Allison's comics right now. I posted some strips from Bad Machinery before, but I've been reading back through the archives, and they're so good. Bobbins starts out weak, and the art isn't as good, but it's interesting to see the evolution of his style. In fact, after I finish my archive binge, I may go back and read through the whole thing again.
He really comes into his own on Scary Go Round, though. It's hard to pinpoint where things really took off, and he's been writing/drawing since 1998, so the archive is a bit daunting, but it's definitely worth it.

Random pages:
The characters do have this strange disease where many of them spout off non sequiturs at random, but I've just learned to go with it.

Re: Comics
One man's garbage is appearantly another man's treasure. Those are some of the dullest comics I've read in quite a while.

John Allison is a real gem. Usually, when I discover a new comic that I like, I email the writer to thank him or her, and John sent me a very nice email in response. He's a classy guy.

Well, it's no Calvin and Hobbes, but I'll take it.

Re: Comics
More comics from John Allison, this time from new Bobbins. I actually saw a fella with a topnot on the MTR a couple of days ago. Has the fashion spread to the States?

Re: Comics
Not exactly a webcomic, but related to comics in a general sort of way. Check out this animated gif of all the cowls Batman has ever worn over the years:

I found on that site, for whatever technical reason, it was impossible to zoom in to the posters close enough to read the words, so I've copied the main poster here.AndyDufresne wrote:Not exactly a webcomic, but related to comics in a general sort of way. I spotted the Carmen Infantino Batman immediately as the "normal" Batman, and I was confirmed after I copied the poster and was able to make out the words "Carmen Infantino."
Amazing how many ways people insist on fixing something that wasn't broke.
