Just played the now infamous Assdoodling with three simultaneous 1 min speed freestyle games...
Half of us were looking for the next game in Round 2 and found a Round 1 game we had gotten kicked from because we hadn't even know it existed... I mean who would imagine a tourney would work like this! Gotta read the fine print I guess. LOL

I beat Dj in the last game, but somehow he won the tourney?

EDIT- we both ended with 3 wins, i guess he had the tiebreaker

Fabulous event the whole olympics and like pirlo i too skipped the crazy assdoodling.
One question - in the casual tournaments it seems to always be the same player who starts first. I had one 5 game and one 3 game and in each my opponent started all games. Was this a weird conincidence or is it always the case as it would give one player a fairly big advantage.

There's an issue with Speed Shopping

http://www.conquerclub.com/player.php?m ... y_id=11501

I was supposed to play Endgame422 in the final, but we both ended up playing the guys who lost round 2. Even weirder was the final table, 4 players 'won' the tournament, 2 with 4/4 records and 2 with 1/4 records.

This tournament have a problem, check the rounds characteristics in the Round 2, 6 move on.. and Round 3, 5 move on.. And everyone in the Round 2 got was the winner and got a silver medal.

First off, I want to apologize for the assdoodle tournament.

I was away at work most of the week, and wasn't able to confer with bigWham who is doing the actual coding of the tournaments. I gave a rather incomplete description of how the tournament should run, and based on that tournament he mashed it into the confines of the autotournament system as best he could. It sucks, and it stems almost entirely from my own unpreparedness. However, the points can't be re-done, as there was no bug in the coding, rather a bug in my bad idea for an auto.

That being said, I suck at coming up with these... please give some suggestions of autos you would like to see... give me an event name, and game type and I will try to accommodate everyone.

As for the Speed Shopping Bug, we will be looking at that immediately.

To clarify, the closing date of tournaments is Aug 3rd (not 30th). However, many of the tournaments won't end until September, so near the end of September is when prizes will be awarded.

The assassin could have been a lot better with one game and whoever got eliminated is out, eliminating one player each round until the final three player game. Apologies for my earlier language, I was just infuriated. Kudos to you for taking the slack, but undoubtedly bW should also have envisaged this problem.

That is originally how I intended it. The autotournament system only sees winners and losers though.

Thanks for taking the fall, how about some, sequential single player speed games instead of all these poly games?
P.S I like caffines idea, shame it wouldn't work, but how about some ass lux games, they always seem popular

This tourney is not letting me in: CC Olympics - Trademark Infringing

It keeps saying: "Player has joined another Tournament in this series"

It's because you already joined a Trademark Infringing tournament. Only allowed to join 1, gives everyone a chance to play.

Yesterdays tourney was a 1 v 1 midgard with the name Trademark Infringing and todays is poly atlantis with the same name, so something went wrong because they are different tourneys.

I think Shaneback's call explains it, and I'm now waiting for this to be solved so I can join!

8 player tourneys only award silver and bronze i think...

After the tourneys changed from 16 to 8 players they changed the medals to silver for first and bronze for second.
