I just checked tonight: one more game from map three; four more from map four. Anxious to see if I get to keep going...mubigred wrote:How many more Map 3 and 4s are outstanding before we get to the checkpoint? Anxious to keep going!

Re: AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 MAPS [Level 1/10]
Intrepid racers,
Day 4 is complete, Level 1 is over, and it is now time for our first checkpoint. A few teams have burst out to an early lead. Some others are already lagging behind.
For 8 teams, this marks the end of your race. Thanks for coming out, as they say.
For the other 40 teams, get ready to start off across France on your way to the next checkpoint, 9 maps from here: the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.
Here's the exciting news: there's a two-way tie for the 40th and final spot. So we will now wait while two teams battle it out for 40th place.
The updated standings and everything else are available at the top of this thread. Have a look at how you did, and see what's next -- if you made it through.
Invites for Level 2 will start with Map 5 once the tiebreaker has been resolved.
May the best team win!

The scoring of level 1 does it get carried over to level 2?

No, scoring starts again at 0. But you are seeded according to your position at the end of level 1.

I have to say this game 13462283 is a total crock. This is where its beneficial to deadbeat and dont let anyone tell you otherwise. All the terts and bonus and cards, dont tell me it wasnt set up that wat
Highest score 3372 02/08/12
Highest position 53 02/08/12

Looks really fishy to me - if it was me, I'd report it as cheating.hmsps wrote:I have to say this game 13462283 is a total crock. This is where its beneficial to deadbeat and dont let anyone tell you otherwise. All the terts and bonus and cards, dont tell me it wasnt set up that wat
"Obviously any gross abuse of the game is forbidden. This includes but is not limited to: throwing games or deliberately benefiting from thrown games, intentional deadbeating, holding players hostage, serial teammate killing, hijacking accounts, systematically "farming" new recruits."

Re: AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 MAPS [Level 2/10]

Re: AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 MAPS [Level 4/10]
Wait, the tournament is dead? Or was just that a reference to Jarems getting knocked out? Hopefully this keeps going, certainly one of the better dubs tournaments ive been in.
