In homage to the men of Visby who sacrificed their lives during round 10 of Game 14267705.
The valor of the Visby fleet will never be forgotten,
Though songs and verses miss the justice truly due its maelstrom,
The armies sent with bolstered aid did battle to the last,
‘Til one man stood above his foe with victory coming fast,
He aimed his sword and led the charge, a single hope prepared,
And did not fear the man with whom his fate was now ensnared,
A moment later, clashes echoed, swords began to strike,
‘Til in a final twist of luck their thrusts were dealt alike,
The Konigsburg man struck his foe, and broke his sword in two,
Thus dealing him a strike that made his body follow suit,
And on that day the man emerged a grateful trench survivor,
Not for the value of the dice but the defense that laid inside her.
The valor of the Visby fleet will never be forgotten

In a thousand years, when that game is forgotten, that poem will be set to music.
