All games 1v1
Welcome to the NFL history tournament. The first season did take place in 1920 but there were not enough teams (14) to meet Conquer Club tournaments rules so we started with the 1921 season.
1921 - Cincinnati Celts (HighlanderAttack)
1922 - Columbus Panhandles (agentcom)
1923 - Milwaukee Badgers (Graceless_)
1924 - Cleveland Bulldogs (whydelilah)
1925 - Detroit Panthers (PereiroSaus)
1926 - Boston Bulldogs (Graceless_)
1937 - Brooklyn Dodgers (Ratrin)
1946 - Chicago Rockets (jpk)
We move to the second year of the AAFC for a league with enough teams to host a conquer club tournament. The only difference to the 1946 season was that the Miami Seahawks folded and were replaced by the Baltimore Colts. This colts team would join the NFL when the AAFC folded but would only survive one season. They were not the colts team that would later join the NFL, the present day Indianapolis Colts.
The strongest rival to the NFL to that time, The All American Football Conference, ran for four seasons. It would eventually hit financial problems as well and it's three strongest teams would join the NFL in the 1950 season. NFL fans will recognise the names of the Cleveland Browns and the San Francisco 49ers, they started life in the AAFC.
So, you get to choose which league you want to play in. If you pick an AAFC team, you will play home and away against the other seven teams in the league.
The NFL actually played 11 games in 1946 so three more games have been added to every team's schedules to match the 14 games being played by the AAFC.
Adjustments aside, you will follow the actual schedule that was played in 1946.
In both leagues, the winners of the East Division will play the championship game against the winners of the West Division, the game being played on the map and settings of the team with the better record.
The winners of both leagues will then meet in Conquer Bowl III. That game will be played on the random map setting, auto, seq, flat, chain, fog, no trench, 20 round limit.
Pick your home map and settings. Any map is allowed and the only settings not being allowed are freestyle and trench, you can have anything else. There will only be 1 game per fixture, not best of 3 so bad drop, bad dice = bad luck. You lose.
There is a restriction of each game having to be completed within 12 rounds, game goes beyond round 12 and the game is declared a tie for tournament purposes so choose your home map carefully. Tied games were not officially counted in the standings in the NFL until 1972. The league table is decided by your win-loss percentage. A team with less wins than you can technically finish above you with this rule.
Games will be sent out in batches of 3 or 4 at a time, so tournament is not open to freeium players.
