Well, I suppose I'll go first since I have at least some useful information.

I'm Lenart, the town cop.

Night 1, I investigated kgb- innocent.

Night 2, I investigated NoS- innocent obviously.

So I guess I can clear kgb unless he's the godfather, in which case we're pretty screwed anyways.

Also, I'm hoping we still have the doctor, this looks like a NV game, and town doc seems to be out there.

By clearing a dead townie, that would give credibility to your other claim about kgb... It would be very easy for scum to do this and slide themselves and their scum partner through... Especially when you "go first," as if that is doing us all a favor.

This is also the reasoning for why I didn't buy crasp's claim of rolecop. The initial cop claim he did made me think he was trying to draw me out with a counterclaim. Certainly, he was the rolecop in the end, but I thought he was the mafia goon with a scumbuddy fake, which is why I double checked NoS just to make sure even after crasp flipped town. Mafia roleblocker could definitely be in the game as well.

Ultimately, you're right that I could be lying, but at least we narrow the list of possible mafia members. Unless kgb is the godfather, in which case we just got terribly unlucky this game.

We have to believe safariguy's claim. I also think there is a doc out there.

At this point, I'd rather have Safariguy point to who he thinks should claim next. Follow the cop, so to speak. Then whoever claims next picks the next player.

Also, we must consider "LYLO-Lynch and Lose" (did I use that right?) situation we are in. If we lynch wrong today, we could conceivably end the game for us. Sure a doc could save us...among some other things...but they are a not great chances at this point.

Now, for my money, Virus's reaction to having a no lynch is a little suspect. I understand a No Lynch on D1 is bad policy. A No Lynch when we are in a LYLO situation is plausible. So, unless we have a clear target that comes from these claims, I would be okay with a No Lynch...but I say we proceed with the claiming.

well was hoping to get some reaction on the comments i gave on lootifier,
virus90 wrote:@ lootifier... that is pretty coincidental... you had 3 leads and all of them are killed... maybe you should add NoS he got killed to.. (sarcasm/irony or something like that). You are performing pretty poorly for a towny if all of your reads flip town, that makes me question your townliness.
FOS lootifier

am i just the only 1 who thinks of this as scummy?

about the no lynch post i made after that.
a no lynch can be beneficial, but in my opinion its to early to talk about it. the day has not even begun and were talking about a no lynch. especially in combination with the rest of loots post it rang some alarmbells in my head.
But maybe its because im not used to no lynches late game, i learned the hard way that suggesting a no lynch is a bad thing so never dared to suggest it again... apparently it is ok to suggest it later in game.
The mass claim is also new for me. for now i guess we stick to the pointing one and another for that to pick the order.

Sure thing, but I would like to point out that your claim is convienently un-testable in our current situation (I think...).

I am Gloria the Town Encryptor. Each night I can recruit someone into my encrypted chat group. This enables both Night and Day chat with my target. I am essentially a neighborizer according to the mafiascum wiki.

First night I targeted Anarkistdream; second night I targeted nagerous. Both based on reading them as town, although I was less sure of my read on nag.

While I understand new guy to have been busy with RL I still didn't like his early game promises and non-delivery, and other than virus there's not much else to go on right now; as such I would like to hear his claim next.

we could be here for a while....can we get a prod on newguy in that case?

also i find it curious that you wouldn't ask anark to claim next and confirm your role but maybe that's just me...then again maybe both you and anark are scum so that wouldn't do us much good either...

anyways, now we wait

Anark and nag dont need to claim to confirm my role, I assumed that they would post confirmation regardless.

I picked the scummiest read I had; the earlier scum are forced to claim the more chance they will slip up.

You're right about the fact we could be here a while though, but I don't think that can be helped.

I confirm he is right... I also confirm that I can't reveal my role... I will need to be investigated at night to be cleared... Sorry, but them's the rules.
Kgb, you may as well claim and not sit around acting irritated at others.

KGB got 'cleared' by safariguy, as a result I'd rather firstly hear from newguy.

Loot, do you know the alignment of the person you recruit? Can you only recruit town? In other words your role is not confirmed town nor are the alignment of your buddies.

No I do not know the alignment of the people I recruit.

There's a variation of the neighborizer role on mafiascum (mason recruiter) where I die if I try to recruit mafia, but that wasn't mentioned in my role information so I assumed it did not apply.

I'd definitely like to hear what new guy has to say, but I will also say that one-shot town vigilante seems underpowered in a NV game. But I'll wait till we have claims on the table before deciding.

Ditto.

We need a prod on new guy1.

I have a feeling we are going to have quite the decision to make on claims and what we feel is good or not.

All you are doing is giving scum more resources to draw fake claims from... This method is ignorant, especially with inactives.

I disagree with this course and think that town's chances are slipping away with each hour you all do this.
