billy07 started a thread (http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewto ... t#p4444453); my guess is that these were both supposed to be PM's between billy and symm and they just accidentally posted to the forums instead (like "I'm a horny postman," "I'm a lonely MILF" kinda fantasy stuff)thegreekdog wrote:Wasn't a similar thread locked recently?

It was also his own country that abolished it before the US did.Phatscotty wrote:I do wonder if the author of the OP realizes it was his own country that introduced and implemented and institutionalized slavery in the New World, as well as in India, Asia, Africa, and Australia. Nice tactics though Symm, really taps into and manipulates the emotions. Couldn't be more ignorant or hypocritical though.

True, but it's a parody thread. And, anyway, he might have had one at some point. Maybe.macbone wrote:Come on, Symmetry, Jefferson didn't have a beard!

I would if certain JStewart people didn't try to hold it up in a way that implies England was better or quicker or more just than America concerning slavery. And I would also if certain people (yourself included) accepted your own countries role in slavery and making the slave trade profitable, instead of projecting on foreign countries.Symmetry wrote:Would you feel differently if we had a CIVIL WAR over it? Well, actually, it's still "hypocrisy", but you do deserve a mention.
What makes you think I don't accept England's role in the slave trade? Is it that I question your grasp of the historical narrative?Phatscotty wrote:I would if certain JStewart people didn't try to hold it up in a way that implies England was better or quicker or more just than America concerning slavery. So, essentially, you have no good reason at all to assume I don't accept it.Phatscotty wrote:You obsession with slavery in America.Symmetry wrote:What makes you think I don't accept England's role in the slave trade?
