Yes. That is pretty much how it went. My wife works with dowian2 and I was with my wife at a get together with a bunch of her co-workers. Dowian2 was talking with a couple of other guys about their active games here on CC and I got involved in the conversation. I played a lot of Risk with friends in college (and Axis and Allies) so I had to check this site out. That was 2009. My wife and I had a son that year so we don't have the social life we once did. I don't think I have seen dowian2 since shortly after I joined the site. I even played a couple of quads game with dowian2 back in the day.
Sorry the story is not as exciting as it could have been. There could have been a lot of speculation going on

Spending some time this weekend finishing a "TOFU hat" for my wife to wear around work...think Green Bay Packer cheesehead but with TOFU on top instead of the cheese.
Also, i should mention that my wife has instructions to use her iphone to take photos of dowian2's screen as she walks by and sees Conquer Club up on his screen. I hope he spends a lot of time on Conquer club during the day as he may start seeing her over in his work area more often the next few weeks. I am really hoping he gets a fog game in batch 2.
Still working on getting her set to up the live video feed of his computer screen...should have that taken care of soon. She was talking about going into the office this evening to finish the install. i have to say this is risky...we are not sure where to send the feed to....Dako in Russia may send up to many red flags so there is some debate. It may go through a 3rd party to keep us clean, the details are being finalized in our Forum as I speak. I was a bit surprised at the cost required to pay off the IT guy at work...bit out of budget so the clan had to engage in some other illegal activities but we should be fine as we have a fall guy that...or I should say "fall clan"

Man, that is incredibly random that they work together. With how few members there are here in the overall scheme of things, that is crazy.

Yes, u are going to have to fend for yourself for a while Cat. Good thing your hunting skills are up to date. I am sorry I snuck in a few nights ago and stole the koi, they are living with us right now and if I may say so living very nicely.
