Freemium for a day X Years a member

Postby haha on Sat Jan 04, 2014 8:40 pm

I was just thinking it might be a cool idea to get a premium for the numbers of years ones been a member in days. Maybe a bonus for those who've been here since the begging!

I think a premium for a day (in general) is not a bad idea for a promotion. I don't think the per year thing is so great...

While the idea is great in principal, In practice it would hurt the admins hip pocket unless some restriction had been put in place. it gives the freemium user a day or so to create or join unlimited games, so the chances of them purchasing are minimised.

Maybe an alternative would be to add membership time to membership purchased.

perhaps it could be limited premium privilege ie speed and private games.. maybe have number of years ones played= number of games allowed to join.

I like the related idea of allowing people to have more total game slots for each year they've been on the site.

But only on the anniversary of their joining to CC. Otherwise it would hurt admins pocket too.
Welcoming the long awaited Trench Warfare Setting (Previously Adjacent Attacks).

How would it hurt admins pocket? You have to stay here at leat 5 years to have +1 game...
after 10 years you would be allowed to have 10 active games. That's ok I guess, if people like CC enough to stay 10 years that won't hurt anyone pocket to give them 10 active games.

I don't know. A lot of people like to hve 5-10 games going and purchase premium for that. Maybe people would still purchase. I don't know.

I was just thinking
number of years as member =X
so it would be X number of days one has the premium with X number of games allowed to join.
however if people want to take it further I am not opposed

If the admins also wanted to just add it to players # of games allowed to join in general i think it would make more scene for one additional game for every five years as a member or something along those lines
