Almost every BR is Escalating, Sunny. I get that this seems to be the mods preference (and that games end sooner). But how about more foggy with nuclear/flat/no spoils/zombie/ etc.

This, I've asked quite often in live chat what people were interested in playing before making anything.Swifte wrote:come in to live chat.. we'll accept input on games.ViperOverLord wrote:Almost every BR is Escalating, Sunny. Although its good to not, they must be spoil games (not allowed NS)

Any spoil besides escalating would likely lead to stalematesIcePack wrote:This, I've asked quite often in live chat what people were interested in playing before making anything.Swifte wrote:come in to live chat.. we'll accept input on games.ViperOverLord wrote:Almost every BR is Escalating, Sunny. Zombie and Nuclear are very luck based but there are plenty of games being made with those settings, and a fair amount of foggy games as well. The reason the majority are escalating sunny is because they're the guidelines for the mods, don't blame them. I'd rather see more standard than terminator to avoid point hoarders but unfortunately it's not possible, so man up and play the games, or don't.

Re: New Year, A Birthday, and Cake!
I would love to see a gigantic standard freestyle Non speed-Hives BR with no spoils and unlimited rounds.
That would be pretty cool mmkay.

Awesome birthday, gained plenty of BR points and managed to get a medal for one too!

Re: New Year, A Birthday, and Cake!
I've been in a pile of nuke/zombie/flat games and they rarely stalemate. Also, most games created have a round limit on them as well to prevent stalemating.Jippd wrote:Any spoil besides escalating would likely lead to stalematesIcePack wrote:This, I've asked quite often in live chat what people were interested in playing before making anything.Swifte wrote:come in to live chat.. we'll accept input on games.ViperOverLord wrote:Almost every BR is Escalating, Sunny. I'm referring to sunny games where people know how to play the game and don't make stupid moves.
I was also not referring to games with round limits. Sorry I guess I should have been more specific.
My point was that a battle royal with everyone starting with one territory that was a speed game could last an extremely long time if any spoils besides escalating get used.

Could, yes.Jippd wrote:I'm referring to sunny games where people know how to play the game and don't make stupid moves.

Nukes tend to end regardless as values go to 1. Zombies were a bit harder to end as there were neutral 15s on the board.
Flat rate is the worst spoil to have.

For those of us who couldn't spare the time to play speed BRs. Some casual terminators would be very nice

So which of the speed freaks won the most BRs this week end?
FF? Gab? Nos? Kog? Caf?
It started extremely bad for me, so many times second or third... But at the end of the day i won 3 and got my shiny silver BR!

Stay tuned. Casual BR's will be up sometime today. (I'll make a note here when they're up, and with instructions on how to find them).samuelc812 wrote:For those of us who couldn't spare the time to play speed BRs. Some casual terminators would be very nice
