This tournament will test your ability on the most basic of maps, Classic, among players similar to you in rank. Players will play 5 1v1 games on Classic with settings of [Automatic, No Spoils, Chained, Sunny, No Trench], [Manual, Flat Rate, Parachute, Sunny, No Trench], [Automatic, Escalating, Chained, Sunny, No Trench], [Automatic, Nuclear, Unlimited, Foggy, Trench], and [Manual, Zombie, Adjacent, Foggy, Trench]. All games are sequential.
Players are seeded according to scores at the time of sign-up (or when I add them soon after sign-up). Each division will play in a bracket to determine the Best in Rank. The final bracket will be different though. Division winners will be seeded so that they play closest to their Division. Example: 1st final round – the Cooks/Cadet winner will play the Private winner, the Major winner will play the Captain winner, etc. The winner of this bracket will be named the Best in CC.
I reserve the right to change the divisions slightly based on sign-up numbers to even it out. Divisions:
Cook/Cadet/Private/Private 1st/Corporal/Corporal 1st
Sergeant/Sergeant 1st
Lieutenant/Captain
Major +
All players who sign up will be accepted. Freemiums need to keep 1 slot open for this tournament. Once I get privileges on January 4th, sign-ups are cut-off.
Players will have 48 hours to join the games (unless you are a freemium and you have 48 hours to join 1 and join the rest in a timely manner). No excuses!
