I have beaten Dukasaur on his home map and he's beaten me on the random. We're fighting it out on my home map now. I like to think I have the upper hand, but we'll have to wait and see!!

Rule #10 comes into play. Since you are #4 and just played #1 and #2 (Doc_Brown) is on vacation. If ElricTheGreat (#3) does not wish to challenge chapcrap right now, then I will allow you to re-challenge chapcrap.

Dukasaur may lose to Roy anyway, which really makes him ineligible to challenge me!

That being said, I was under the assumption that dibs was for the number 1 spot, not necessarily a specific person.

Yep...which is why I deleted the "DIBS" next to Duk on the Ladder. Everything is chronological as to when it is posted in the Forum. Here are a few scenarios as well.

If Roy wins, then Dukasaur will move down to #5 and Roy will move to #4.

If Duk beats Roy, then he moves up to #3....and Elric moves to #4.

If Elric beats chapcrap, then ETG becomes #1, chap is #2, and Doc is #3.

If Duk beats Elric, then Duk moves to #3 and Elric moves to #4.

Now...here is where reporting is critical...there are at least six different ways that I've projected so far) the Top 6 can wind up when everything is said and done. Rule #14 will come into play.

Needless to say (because I'm making this more complicated than it really is), Duk cannot issue a challenge to #1 (whoever it may be) until he has completed his match against Elric (Rule #10). Now, if Elric beats chapcrap AND Duk beats Roy, but loses to ETG, then Duk can challenge Elric because Elric would have attained a new rank with his win over chapcrap.

I almost need a super computer to keep track of all of this at times...LOL
