I would guess from the second paragraph onwards that Gweeedo was being sarcastic. However, sarcasm does not travel well over the internet so it could easily be confusion instead of sarcasm. Your guess is as good as mine.

I expressed my willingness to play Against suicidal freaks...I am sure I do not encounter as many suiciders as he.
My willingness to continue playing a game against a supposed Cheater confuses him (and others).
Along with his assuming that I might take a position of suicide on a fellow player that has 'foed me' and entered one of my games ( I know it is no longer possible).
What (if ever) is a acceptable time to suicide? (Depending on your interpretation of suicide)
It is perfectly understandable to allocate all your time and energy to defeat a single player.
That is considered suicide, if it results in your elimination...everybody does it. That is the way the game is played.


When up against a cheater, suicide, or any other type foul. I simply continue the game, oppose to deadbeating or crying about the injustice. I will rate accordingly and hope to never meet that player on the battlefield again.

lol seul! we were playing a speed freestlye escalating on feudal war all 3 of us, and we reached a stalement. so we decided to play a tie breaker at the same time. Given that feudal war was a standard freestyle escalating, i thought we all decded the tiebreaker would be a speed standard escalating on a random map. It was assassin and i didn't see it, as i had to constantly go from one window to another; I was timmy's target, he was playing before me a trade and he gambled on my assassination that worked (roughly 50% chances). I was having a 3 men standard escalating defense and i got screwed. that is not a suicide, it was just a poor gameplay as i had very little time to think with the 1min freestlye at the same time and the fact that quite illogically for me the tie breaker was set as assassin. A suicider makes the attack, he is not the one who gets attacked "all in!"

And this for example was a do or die attack from timmy to win the game. so it's completely different from a suicidal attack. It would ve been a suicidal attack though in 3 men standard as he would've had no chance to win after killing me.

But for the occasional example like the case I mentioned at the start of the thread where players choose to start foeing because they keep losing to the same opponent. That's the opposite of self-improvement, do we want more players following the example of these *KLOBBER-lites*, foeing players that beat them or that might have the potential to beat them in order to keep their points? I'm not advocating a change in the foe list function, but I would advocate a change in the *use* of the foe list function by everyone here.

Ok, so the general vibe is we foe others for:

• Bad game play
• Bad manners/language/sportsmanship
• Bad forum posts
• Cheating

But foeing players that beat you to stop them from continuing to beat you for points, win rate, pride or whatever. I don't want to be like KLOBBER, that guy was a pariah that even other pariahs would be ashamed of. Also I'm not a big fan of endlessly clicking on the posts by my foes just to read the contents only to find out that it wasn't worth the time taken to read it in 9 out of 10 instances.

To reiterate, I don't want the foe list function altered, it's not perfect but it does work fine as it is. I just want to alter how all of us use the foe list function.

However if you continue on your current trajectory I'm sure I will be able to find a slot in the mouth breathing lunatic department. May I suggest talking to my personal hero and all round good guy betiko, he is the patron saint of lost causes and is always on the hunt for team mates with similar tastes in shaved ape pictures. When is it appropriate to foe someone? When you see fit, it is a site option. Exercise said site option as frequently or infrequently as you wish. No need to give explanations as to why. Say your foeing someone for the most noble reasons, and there will still be someone doubting your motives. Give em nothing, and cut the opportunities of being misquoted/misrepresented.

when it is acceptable to foe someone? Whenever you wish..... May not be sensible to foe a clan brother/sister or a teammate. Other than that, have at it. Accept yourself no matter what eh?

The bogan divinity foes people that shit him(this includes nonsensical dribblers of verbal diarrhoea in the fora), cheat, foe his friends, use cheap tactics(disappear for two turns, then return without saying anything, and then do it again, and always when in possession of a set on 3cards.)

Rather than making a separate topic I'll just append it to the end of this one:

How about foeing for medals? Personally I think using the foes list to block players you've beaten is in the same league as foeing to keep your points. If I were to read between the lines the message I would get is this: "Thanks for the scalp towards my next medal, now f*ck off and stay out of my games."

Considering that a lot of other players(myself included) are chasing medals also, it's really tasteless to use the foes list to block other players from claiming you as a kill towards their sort after medal achievement of some description.

How do you guys feel about being arbitrarily added to the foes list of other players whilst they chase medals?
