If rules are for the start of the league then it's a bit disappointing to hear you support the idea of only the top 10 being invited to the next RL Surely that should have been announced at the start of the competition.

this its best option. first then will get invitations, and if someone from this 10 decline, then you add new clan .

What you have said doesn't make any sense (or at least I cannot work out what you mean in your first paragraph). As for your second statement - well that's simply not true. The majority of football leagues work on Points followed by Goal Difference (thanks Keefie for posting that info).

It may be a moot point anyway if benga's not really interested in the rules regarding a points tie, but it is worth noting the following:

Team A finish with 45 points and a record of 185 wins and 7 losses
Team B finish with 45 points and a record of 105 wins and 87 losses

Under the current rules Team B could be the winner. I just don't think that's fair, not when it is a league and a whole season's results should be taken into consideration.

btw benga, I know I said it before, but your off-site table of Matches/Results/Standings was excellent and I'm sure would be a welcome continuation in the next edition of this tourney.

I must say that benga are right here> rules are build before start of league, and everybody agree when they join.
Its can not change rules now in last round, because will be ruined Tournament integrity .
In next RL, better study rules and make suggestions, how to improve some rules, if you think are not good.

Qwert, you misunderstand. No-one is trying to change the rules of the existing tournament. Benga asked for suggestions how the next Random League could be improved and that is what I was replying to.

think they pretty much have it, even with tffs loss, foed looks good to them

they have this TOFU-LOW 5-7 2013-02-19

and it's 2nd in line criteria for winning

but too soon to call anything, there have been many upsets in last rounds so..

if duration too long why not start matches two weeks apart? rough on the war makers and freemiums , but will have last of 17 start 4 months after opening match.... great tournament btw

Fair enough chariot I do apologize to you and the whole TOFO clan. I know many of you you and you are a great bunch of guys. I should not have make this personal. It might have been a bit excessive. I had a few bad rounds maybe you got to take some shit for it. However why even bring this matter up at this point at all?

Anyways, I really dont want to attack some one on the personal level as I did, sorry for that.

Thanks Benga for doing such a great job keeping everything updated and running this so smoothly. This was a great competition and it was fun playing all the clans involved. I know that we can't wait for the next one.

Agreed mate. And hats off to LoW for topping the table. I believe they sat there and held it throughout the tourney, with a few nipping at their heels, but never relinquished it. A sure sign of good things to come with such consistency, so well done you guys
