I just said that if a speed lynch occurs, it'll give away three scum.wicked wrote:I guess 3 mafia and an SK sounds reasonable. I had "7" in my mind b/c I was worried about a speed lynch on Ank.

Errr... that may be, but my vote had a reasoning behind it. I wanted to hear from you and ML, since I didn't see a reason for your vote other than "Narc put a 3rd vote on wicked." Basically, I want to hear from everyone on this bandwagon; I don't want an accidental lynch.Guilty_Biscuit wrote:Day 1 mind games Aim, day 1 mind games. You, btw, are in a far less defensible position. As the third voter, you are similar to the man behind the grassy knoll...Aimless wrote:Along those lines, I'd like to hear from Guilty_Biscuit and ML regarding their Narc votes.
I'm more aware than anyone that my argument is weak; I don't particularly want to lynch Narc on the sole basis of it - at least, not yet. So, I'm poking people to get responses. *poke, poke* You're voting Narc, too; if you've got a better reason, or even one to add to mine, I'd like to hear it.

Well, there were four votes on Narc at the time. So if scum decided to try to speed lynch him, that would reveal three of them (it takes seven to lynch, after all). Basically, wicked was accusing me of putting Narc in a dangerous situation by leaving him at lynch -3; I responded that it was dangerous, but it would give us a big lead if scum did speed lynch him.AK_iceman wrote:Ok, we talked about how there is probably only 3 scum to begin with... but I don't understand how a speed lynch will reveal all 3 of them.Aimless wrote:I just said that if a speed lynch occurs, it'll give away three scum.
I'm apparently drawing a bunch of flak for that line of reasoning, though, so my vote is temporarily withdrawn.

That makes sense. I'm slightly suspicious of Aimless. But only slightly. FOS Aimless. I would probably vote him if I didn't know that his mind is probably fired by finals.

Exactly! So, why was I taking so much flak for leaving my vote on? Hell, mine wasn't even the fourth vote; tonka's was.wicked wrote:The only people who speed lynch are noobs. You're not going to get that here Aim. nice try though.
I really don't understand this argument against me. I could see making a case against me if you thought I was pushing to hard on a weak rationale, but basing a case off of the fact that I voted that rationale?
Crap. Now I'm getting defensive. Bah.
I'll leave well enough alone, for now. I still think Narc is the most suspicious player at the moment; but I'll back off and let the rest of you hash it out for a while.

Well, Im going to stay out of the voting and FOSing column for a little longer. There are some people that I am suspicious of but I also think that the real mafia may be the one's who haven't posted anything of importance yet and generally stayed out of the limelight.
As far as Aimless goes, I am not sure if he has a secret agenda or not. I do know that his comments have showed logic at least to some level.

Sorry Aim... guess I just misunderstood your rationale for wanting a speed lynch. I don't know if Ank's scum or not, hence me not wanting to be tied to him... or any other player for that matter. lol
And what I meant is I was *hoping* we didn't have anyone here that would make a noob mistake... although you never know, so better safe than sorry.
