Secret Diplomacy- Dalatoken & King Reyn [cleared]

Postby misher on Wed May 29, 2013 7:37 pm

Accused:

Dalatoken
King Reyn

The accused are suspected of:

Being Multis
Conducting Secret Diplomacy

Game number(s):

Game 12577223

Comments: Green hasn't talked all game yet pink has continued to ignore him and expand in the other direction, and green is trapped behind pink and one would assume can't expand without being invaded by pink, yet he has gone through his weak/precarious african connection to invade India. I have written a few reports but none in a long time, and I am only writing this one once I am 99% convinced they have been conducting diplomacy either through private messages or other means outside the Game Chat. In 8 rounds they haven't fought or taken a territory from each other, in round 11 yellow took many places in west europe from green and pink intervened, taking those places back from yellow, green then took those places off pink. I find it interesting to note that pink has never invaded green directly, only aided him in taking back places from others, and green has attacked yellow and taken places but only ones hes owned previously. Checking as far back as round 8, i have not seen them ever break a bonus of each others, this considering yellow has consistently broken bonuses of red/teal, and green has gone around pink to aid him versus breaking teal. The course of this game displays clear proof of secret diplomacy and examining the history/log has only increased this belief from my original 90% to 99%.

There positioning looks exactly like a NAP, their past game history shows what I believe to be an alliance. Possibly existing from the start of the game.

Pink currently does not hold any zone bonus areas and has his borders guarded against green. If there is a mutual respect on their borders it doesn't necessarily mean they are in a secret alliance. When teal and red had a truce, both of you made assaults on pink. Green was hardly a factor during that time.

If green should have any intention to attack someone right now, perhaps it should be red who is currently getting the most troops per round, or even orange who has the most troops and looks to be the most stable with his hold on Mongolia and Manchuria. Teal is also an understandable target as well since teal is in a truce with red which helps red grow stronger.

Do take note that Dalatoken is coming from Sweden, so English could not be his primary language. This is Dalatoken & King Reyn first game played together so far.

My point being they've been acting like there allied all game. As the situation stands from looking at the current deploys yes they could just have an informal/impromptu truce, but I will restate the points I made earlier, green hasn't spoken all game, they both have acted to help each other and have not fought all game, pink has hit yellow not to take more territories, but to secure those territories so green can take them back off pink, 0 attacks against each other have been made that weren't meant to aid in securing territory! etc. I understand that they couldn't atk each other from their current positions but not attacking all game even when green has been reduced to 0 bonuses and next to no men makes no sense, he has deliberately let green rebuild and hit other players in an effort to weaken them so that green can take them over, he has given green the territory he now holds. I'm reasonably certain that they have been pming messages back and forth between each other.

I will also add that I did not make this report lightly, I haven't reported anyone since Dec 2011 when someone raged in chat, and no one of in-game stuff since May 2011.

I'm unsure what powers you admins have but if possible can you check their inbox? If its clear then I'll accept it.

Btw green does speak english although its not 100%.

Don't hold it against green just because he does not say anything in the game chat. What you are implicating is still not solid as I find it to be subjective. If pink is benefiting from green why would he attack him? Vice versa as well.

And no, we don't/can't read others' inbox.

Haha meant may 06 as may 6th but yeah shudda put the year. Definitely a freudian slip.

What do you mean why would pink attack green? The last attack pink made was to go through denmark->sweden to eliminate gray. And all green did after pink attacked him was take the regions back, they were simply acting similar to a doubles team. Looking through records besides that one time pink went through green to eliminate gray, he hasn't made a SINGLE attack on green all game. That means that in 22 rounds of gameplay he hasn't taken a single region off green except for 1 turn when he went through 2 regions to eliminate grays 1 last region. And green just took those 2 regions back and there back to maintaining borders.

Pink and green has their borders guarded against each other. For now, the only suspicious activity we are basing the possible secret alliance from is that, as you say, they have not yet attacked one another. Do not forget that you held Arabia, and West India on the 16th round. Green got Arabia on the 19th. Red was able to attack through Pink. As I told you before, if green was benefiting from pink that he is getting all the attention from the other opponents, why would he also attack pink then? For pink, if green is not attacking him, and their borders are guarded against one another, then he might as well focus his attention to those breaking into him. As they are neighbors, one way or another, they will have no choice but attack each other as well. Unless we have more than what we have right now, this is cleared.
