Tampa Devil Rays
Milwaukee Brewers
Washington Nationals
Philadelphia Phillies
Seattle Mariners
Colorado Rockies
Houston Astros
San Diego Padres

reasonably comfortable with this... one I'm iffy on, with a replacement team.

One of your NL teams is incorrect (figured I'd narrow it down a bit for ya).

Go Ducks!

Not the Giants, either...

Game 1, tomorrow night... It's going to be a hell of a series.

You know who we haven't heard from in a while? Jeff Bagwell (weird, I think this is my second Astros related question). Which team originally held the rights to this budding talent, but traded him... for whom?

Red Sox. Larry Anderson. If I want to bug my roommate, I bring up this trade... (funny thing, tho, I think I might have asked this question back in the early days of the thread)

Anyway.

New (very easy) question: who was the last pitcher to win 30 games, what year was it, and what team did he play for?

Anyways - on the reverse side of things, who posted the highest number of losses in a season while winning the Cy Young?

That's a good one. I have no idea.

But I'll guess... I dunno, Nolan Ryan? I can totally see a situation where he lost like 13-14 games in a season, but won 18-19 and struck out 400 guys and posted a low-ish ERA.

Nope. This was one that I actually got wrong - my guy missed by one, guess I could accept both  but no, Ryan is not the guy I;m looking for.

Good guess, Roger does have 6 cy youngs, but none in which he lost much more than 10 games, as I recall.

Clarification: I'm talking about most losses by a Cy Young winner in the season he won it.
