lol i can just imagine him sitting their for hours, not reading instructions or anythingI did not use multiple accounts. My account got hacked and i have not been using the site since. It's actaully a waste of time. I rather go outside in the sunlight then sit on my computer all day waiting for a turn. It's actaully the worst site i have ever been on. People who play this game must have a ot of spare time on thier hands to play this constantly.

That might be true, but that's not why I use he/him/himself/his as a third person singular personal pronoun for both males and females. English lacks a gender-neutral third person singular personal pronoun, but I think the male third person singular personal pronoun works quite nicely for this purpose. Note: "it" is a neuter third person singular pronoun, but it is considered incorrect to use when referring to a person.RobinJ wrote:Well the truth is that the majority of players are males, as some of the polls have shown (about 90% or so) so everyone just makes that assumption
some examples:
The player rolled 3 sixes, then he rolled 3 ones.
Outside of any context we cannot say that the player in question is male or female. If it is important whether "he" is a male or female it will almost always be clear from the context. In a large number of instances it simply isn't important what the gender of the person is.
The player rolled 3 sixes, then she rolled 3 ones.
We understand that the player in question is female.
I absolutely refuse to follow the ridiculous advice to use "he or she" or to pluralize every instance of a third person personal pronoun and then seek refuge in the plural "they."
Other languages use the masculine third person singular personal pronoun in a similar way. For example, the French sentence for "It's raining" is Il pleut, literally "He rains" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grammatical_gender).

He could be paying for those reviews...j/khecter wrote:Holy shit! You're still a noob and you got 19! That's crazy!oVo wrote:Damn... that's a lot of fucking.
I have a tendency to read the negatives and find that most are petty bs.
It's kind of peculiar that some players with 300+ complete games have
relatively few positive feedbacks.

I don't leave much feedback because I want the ones that I do leave to mean something. I also find it ammusing that everyone assumes players are "he"s on this site. Granted, most probably are... but when someone mentions that they are PMSing in a game... I'm sure they are female... am I right? Overall, I find my feedback humorous because of this very fact. I am female and everyone calls me "him"
can you believe this guy? he has a pile of dung for an avatar
I'm Spanking Monkey now....err...I mean I'm a Spanking Monkey now...that shoots milk
Too much. I know.

Hah! Man that is funny.Guilty_Biscuit wrote:Yeah - we should leave more negative feedback. My favorite example is:Iliad wrote:I don't really care about positive. negative is much more funny and interesting.
NEGATIVE: Though you did nothing wrong, I am giving you this negative feedback to teach you that the universe is arbitrary and unfair.
