many people on this topic arguing that card cash ins will be a problem, for there will be too few cards (everyone 5 cards will led to 30 cards total) but i dont think that is going to happen. cash ins are very good if done quick (you are dead else) and on the other hand did the battle royals not have the same problem? and how did that work out?

I think the solution to cards has been solved long ago, just play a No Cards game if you're really concerned.
18 is fine to me and it should definitely stay.
As for European Onion, I'm neutral towards it, don't specially love it or hate it, but if something better it thought of I wouldn't mind switching it. But at the moment, it isn't an eyesore or anything.
Just some suggestions perhaps:
Pain/Spin (Spain)
White Cross (Switzerland)
Atlantis
Pompei

That's a double mistake, first he names part of Europe after an empire he probably only knows from tv, and then he spells it wrong. That might be over the top a bit too much.ericwdhs wrote:I like it. what about holy rolling empire?
Warning: You may be reading a really old topic.
I made lots of double mistakes when I was a kid. You wouldn't believe how long I had thought volleyball was actually bally ball (probably all through elementary school). That's a double mistake: changing the sound and making it two words. Of course, I'm the village idiot so I can't be the standard of comparison... hahaColeman wrote:That's a double mistake, first he names part of Europe after an empire he probably only knows from tv, and then he spells it wrong. We're having a poll for a reason... if majority say go on, then we will. But we have to see the actual results, otherwise the minority will keep on complaining. If we never listened to anyone, there isn't really any use.RobinJ wrote:Look at it this way guys: We could spend forever arguing about territory names on a map like this and, even then, no-one would be happy. Hang on - "Iceland" in this instance is meant to be "Scandinavia"...boberz wrote:i voted 2 european onion and iceland
the onion sounds daft (too daft)
iceland is too specific in my opinion sorry dont have better suggestions
Part of Scand.. is Norway... part of Norway is Lapland... which is where Santa lives...
Name me a 7 year old who doesn't know where Santa lives?
Perhaps a change to "Lapland" or "Santa's Grotto" might be a plan?
On another note though - I like the juxtaposition of Iceland to Greenland and thus the gag connecting the two works well.
